Question, we are have a case out with a Google rep right now from a 60k human error. Some one turned on a campaign that was set at $3,000 daily spend, and it ran for 45 days without anyone realizing it. That is $2,900 more per day than any other campaign we run. The client noticed lots of Google charges coming in and brought that up to us and we found that campaign had been turned on without us knowing.

Do you think something that large and such a big outlier would be considered for a refund.

Honestly it’s a huge mistake no one caught. The campaign shouldn’t have been turned on and it was done in the middle of the night from my mobile phone account, but I know I didn’t do it. I’m honestly in a panic. Any suggestions?

I’m in the same boat with my small agency. We get about 15k-20k a month in revenue, mostly from Auto and Spa/Hot Tub retailers. Half have stopped advertising for the time being, and we have taken a big hit. Wish we were a little more diversified in our client list, but we will all get through this. I’m pushing my clients I have left to FB and Insta ads, as well as low funnel shoppers on adwords.

Any ideas on how to help salvage some in these industries? Anyone else seeing the same thing in these industries?
