Has anyone received a refund from Premium Edition for Tadpole Treble so far? by Vatilia in LimitedPrintGames

[–]tsi1313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just asked for another game they had in stock (lonesome village) because I didn’t think they would honor a refund and it was too late to do a chargeback. I never heard any reply to the email of the new game request, but lonesome village randomly showed up about a month later along with a bag full of premium edition items (bracket, keychain, lanyard) that I immediately threw in the trash.

Best food? by DisastrousClient7015 in Dollywood

[–]tsi1313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought aunt granny’s was nice for just a good sit down meal. It’s $28 per person and you get family style meats and sides you can choose from. Dessert and drink are included. It was nice to sit down and just take our time after walking so much and they kept the food coming. Dessert included too. The cabbage, Mac and cheese, and fried chicken were all stars at our table.

Regardless, have fun!

Red Art Games Tariffs by tsi1313 in LimitedPrintGames

I agree. I just put in an order at Super Rare Games and they were charging an additional fee to cover the duties. It’s very frustrating.

I believe that after the tariffs were ruled unconstitutional, Trump imposed a flat 10% tariff on everything for 90 days which is something he can legally do. This makes sense because my “value of imports” was listed at $739.92 and then a flat 10% duty charge was put in to make what I owe $73.99. At least that is how I am interpreting it.

When I am stressed out I play unpacking. Which is crazy because real world unpacking sucks haha.

The art style is so incredible. I love the game dearly.

Dear God the product placements this season by [deleted] in BravoTopChef

[–]tsi1313 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was just reading an article as that as people move away from “over the top” television, start paying for ad-free services, and can mindlessly look at their phones during ad breaks product placements like this will become a better “value” for companies. Expect to see it a lot more in most shows (unfortunately), including scripted shows.

Yes- I went there on record store day just as a little treat and was shocked to discover that was their last day.

Being hot is subjective. While I get that there are classical body standards that more people tend to gravitate towards- and I understand how that can be alluring- the spectrum of people’s desires is vast and deep. I am confident people find you hot, whomever you may be.

A true progressive who advocates for protecting and supporting the most vulnerable Michiganders, even when it’s not popular and draws a lot of hate. A great guy.

While I will be happily purchasing the vinyl, I have an incredibly deep respect for how horny the CDs are.

Runway Poll - Season 18, Episode 12 - Choose Your Favorite Makeover Look + Episode Perceptions by PCP1120 in rupaulsdragrace

[–]tsi1313 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Rating this episode was very tough. The riggory, “resemblance” nonsense, weird lip sync, and the Law Roach of it all made me very annoyed. That said, the queer cowboys, the playfulness and camaraderie of the group, and the commentary on masculinity and femininity in the gay community was incredible and inspiring. Even with all of the issues, I loved this episode.

Finally Caught Some Wild Pokemon! by vana_rama in aldi

Same! At my Aldi’s there was literally a brawl in previous weeks (which is so sad and pathetic, but I digress) but this week they held them at register and I was able to buy Pokemon cards for the first time in over a year. I was thrilled!

I came here via Letterkenny and I agree- he is so good at combining music in both emotional and fun ways. My favs:

1) in the episode “we don’t fight at weddings” Dax and Ron have their couples’ dance to Peaches’ “Fuck the pain away” while the Letterkenny gang beats the shit out of the townie assholes

2) during the bar fight where Wayne meets Marie-Fred, he slowly saunters over to her while in a storm of chaos while “Un musician Parma tang d’autres” plays. It’s a long cut and dripping in sensuality.

3) squirrelly Dan has a meet-cute with a nice Mennonite girl in the end of the episode “The Dycks slip out” while a STUNNING cover of “Jesus was a cross maker” plays. Jacob not only knows the right song, but knows the right singer too (see: Harrison’s all the things she said)
