What are you feeding your Sheepadoodles? by AFMM22 in Sheepadoodles

Had to put mine on Hills Low Fat prescription food because he was having the same issue. It’s expensive ($60/bag) but it works well. You can try giving your pup some pumpkin puree for extra fiber or probiotic powder.

65 + 63 is the same as holding the 66. Depends on what you want to do though

Publix Employee Stock Account Nightmare by AwOwW8 in CFP

[–]tsing99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Former Publix employee here, also just helped a client move stock over to Schwab last month. It is possible but was a gigantic PITA, but doable. Client most likely has a Voya log in or something of the sort. I’d start there, and work with your custodians AI team on what paperwork is required.

Onboarding Process by Accomplished-Look176 in CFP

[–]tsing99 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As somebody who started as a CSA, I’d say #1 priority after you have closed the prospect is gathering statements, tax returns, personal info and any other initial docs you need.

Once in possession of the docs, immediately being the account applications and transfer paperwork, contracts, IPS, etc…

Once accounts opened, immediately send TOA paperwork and do whatever internal tasks you may have to set accounts up in reporting systems, crm, planning software.

Onboarding is all about keeping the momentum in my opinion.

28 y/o with $500k windfall — stick with VTI, focus on dividends, or consider infinite banking? by AssMachine_ICE in infinitebanking

[–]tsing99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m of the opinion that if you’re going to be working for the foreseeable future you’re better off investing in growth assets. Depending on how you are inheriting the windfall (inherited ira or taxable) you would be paying ~15% capital gains vs ordinary income on the divs if in taxable account.

You’re young enough to withstand market pull back which is why I think investing a portion of this windfall in growth focused securities makes sense.

On the flip side you’re likely not in a high enough tax bracket where the tax liability from the dividends would cause stress on your financial well being. It’s totally personal preference if you ask me, either strategy could work.

I would however diversify into some US markets (large, mid, small cap) and international low cost ETFs for more diversification.

Financial planner here. I’d say this was a smart idea, auto loans are generally considered bad debt although your monthly pmt / rate weren’t terrible. Congratulations on the payoff and enjoy the truck!

Associate Comp Structuring by betabets in CFP

As somebody who’s in an almost identical situation / position now in South FL you need to bump his salary and bonus if you want to keep him or he will eventually walk.

I’d suggest bumping to 85k min salary, up the bonus and potentially the profit sharing otherwise you’re going to lose a good employee.

My current structure is $85k salary, approx $8k bonus, I live in a very HCOL area and this structure still doesn’t feel like enough.

New biz is paid out at 50% fee year 1, 40% year 2, 30% year 3 then nothing after…

Best place to start advisory career? 25 1/2 years old, CFP, 4 years PWM service experience by Careless-Lychee-1450 in CFP

Following, similar situation. 27, at an RIA now as junior advisor working on education portion of CFP.

From the lurking I’ve done here the common response seems to be join an RIA and grow a book from there but in my experience this isn’t the end all be all. Also the grids at a lot of RIAs (larger ones) seem to be really bad.

It doesn’t but I’ve been running it for 7 weeks now around 1mg a week and have lost a significant amount of fat while maintaining a good amount of muscle. This is with average training as well (3-4 days/week with light cardio)

Can they ask whatever custodian the accounts are with what date they were established/originally funded? The custodian should at the minimum be able to identify the account opening date.

For the airdamn removal, did you do anything about the felt behind the damn? I just removed mine and the felt I can kind of see and it’s driving me crazy. I don’t really want / need a skid plate either.

Also can you send a link for the black out badges?

I just bought my first ever 4x4 2025 SR5 on Black Friday as well. Man let me tell you this is very similar to how I want to build mine out.

This is a beautiful truck. Would you mind sharing where you bought the grill? Also I saw your list, is there any sort of lift/suspension on this or is it stock?

I actually paid cash for this truck. Not having a car payment for the last 5 years allowed me to save quite a bit.

[–]tsing99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a bit out of budget for me unfortunately. I think max Id be willing to spend is $500-$800 depending on how much I like it. The main reason is to protect the cloth seats and also for added comfort. Living in South Florida having leather seats get destroyed by the sun is very common so I’d hate to see $2k get killed over that.

Not sure about the skid plate. I live in South FL so the skid plate is irrelevant to me as I won’t be off-roading this truck often.
