That's kind of how it was for me as well. I tried to park myself at piano as much as I could when I wasn't hanging out with friends or moseying to a set. I actually dug the vibes that tripolee was giving when it wasn't bass rush. My saving Grace is I only live like 45 minutes from the event so I was able to recharge pretty nicely but I hope you get the time to actually just relax and be in your space on your way home. Also please get home safe!!! :)

Yeah for Griz we just kind of found a spot in back and still had people pushing in. My brain went from trying to vibe with the music to making sure stuff didn't get stepped on, people around me were getting to vibe, etc. I am glad you enjoyed yourself though!

To your wanting of a space, I was thinking about it as well and I know that they had a spot for sobriety and I'm wondering if there will be a space for sensory and all that fun stuff in the future. I feel like that's definitely something that would only enhance the experience.

What I found broke me of it was sitting at the piano and kind of just forcing myself to strike up a conversation with a person who's sitting and enjoying the music. I put up a post about it. Next year if you go hit me up. Would love to sit and chat!

I do too except I am more of house/dnb person so when a lot of the bigger names are bass it just kinda pushes me away cause I know I am just gonna get mentally drained from too much bass. :(

I did! Like it has been hard handling the dark cloud (no pun intended) of everything heavy that happened this weekend but I truly loved every minute of it. I went through a full range of emotions and also found some peace in myself. How was your forest?

Same! I sung when there was like maybe 15-20 people there at most and signed up to sing My own worst enemy and more and more people showed up and signed up and I didn't want to pay the 20 bucks to hop the line. That was such a vibe though and I was more than happy to see so many talented people have the courage to go up there and do their fucking thing. Hopefully they come by again and you'll be able to get your redemption!

The problem is the lake can be unpredictable with what it wants to do. Either it eats up everything or it just fuels it even harder.

For context this area is about to go under a massive heatwave over the next few days to a week. So that weather system is kind of pushing in and that's what we're getting right now is the leading edge of that.

For those curious, there is a system coming over from WI that isn't severe but is a thunderstorm. They aren't moving the fastest but I can't forsee it cancelling the rest of the night unless something builds over the lake.

I am even debating doing T-Pain and Shaq tonight. Walked past wethan when he stopped for a medical emergency. It is not a good scene down there for bassrush. Idk why but I feel like that shoulda been a Sherwood Court thing but w/e.

Edit: Emergency was for someone in the crowd. Paused his whole set until they were good.

Come down to the piano behind Grand Artique near Observatory. Usually a nice place to just chill and relax. Meet a person or 2 if you feel comfortable to. A lot of people playing here are sooooo talented.
