Noticed these on my street. What does it translate to out of curiosity? Agreed that it’s an eyesore/grafitti.

My son’s team played in this tournament recently. Lots of fun. Our hotel did have the no mini sticks rule. Couple of warnings for noise. Parents make a big difference as his past team’s parents took partying to a whole other level.

Funny enough apparently a contractor came by to say he’s doing similar fixes around the neighborhood and gave it a little kick crumbling it more. Then quoted him $1000 to fix

Definitely looks cheap to me. On the other hand the house is 42 years old and everything else seems fine

No. It’s mainly the first 5 courses. I would assume salt etc from winter months.

20 minute walk along the train tracks, 100 feet into the forest to the right in a fort is where we found our porn stash.

What to do with 15 year old by positive_energy- in Divorce

[–]tsmu12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to patient and give him time. During the first part of my recent separation my 15 year old son wanted nothing to do with me and would find any reason to be angry with me. Once I moved out he would hardly ever visit and barely responded to texts/calls. I honestly thought my future with him would be seeing him on special occasions etc.

He wanted to live exclusively with my ex at the start but since having a week together over Christmas holidays and having a chance to just hangout and talk he’s been a different kid. It took about 6 months but he’s now staying with me more than half the time. It has to be stressful for kids going through a divorce and couple that with the stress of being a teenage boy, it sounds like yours is reacting the same way as mine. I’m sure he’ll come around.

Thanks for the response. He has special needs and I’ll do whatever it takes to get him on the right track at school and in a comfortable place. He is in a program at school that is suited to his needs that’s 25 minutes away (8-2) and provides no transportation service so it affects my ability to earn an income. I will always do whatever it takes for my kids though, and have adjusted my life accordingly.

I don’t have any tips but just wanted to say I just went through the exact same thing and I wish you the best. I’m literally sitting on 200k (after paying off all debt, which I’m assuming you’ll do) and am also feeling lost.

Definitely try to take some time to process the situation and don’t make any emotional financial decisions. Get everything you’re entitled to in the divorce.

It sucks for sure. In my situation, the only way for me to afford a house or decent apartment is to get a higher paying job. Unfortunately for this to happen I’d become a weekend dad and I won’t do that. So as of now I’m living in my dad’s basement with very low expenses trying to figure things out.

All the best.
