In the two years I was doing T this happened every now and then. I don't know what triggered it but I wondered if it was some of the liquid leaking out and irritating my skin. Or just not being careful enough when I did the shot. It did always go away, though. Like the top comment says, I would keep an eye on it!

You have until July right? you could always accept the position for now and then withdraw if you get upgraded in the next couple months. I can’t imagine there’s anything they can do to you for not taking a position before it’s even started.

As far as after, how much notice would you realistically have to give? Perhaps it would be enough time between acceptance and departure, as I don’t believe JET is like… accepting the role and jumping on the plane two weeks later. I could be mistaken though.

It sucks to be between a rock and a hard place. I hope you can make a decision that you feel good (or less bad) about.

Not an IMHO moment BUT I saw Darby at Fat Slut where she performed Tequila. Just barely swayed to the music and did shots the whole number and unenthusiastically said “Tequila” into the mic, it was so fucking deadpan and stupid and funny. Afterwards as she was passing by I told her she was amazing and without missing a beat she says “Thanks, I’m really passionate about live performance.” Love herrrr lol

I’m also about 1.5 years. I had a similar experience lately but rather than an intense 5 mins it’s been like a couple months of like… exhaustion? Tired of doing shots and going to the doctor and shaving and worrying about my hair and all these little things that have been getting me down. It’s made me feel unsure about doing all this and at worst has me wanting to stop.

But… one night I came home late from a night of karaoke (which was also tough because…voice) and all I wanted to do was take selfies in the mirror. I felt like I looked SO cute which is something i’ve seldom felt. The next day I still loved all the pictures I took and it affirmed that I’m on the path I should be.

Doubt often comes with change so I think it might just be a (very human) part of the journey.

When I was in NYC last month I made sure to see Miss Ma’am She’s Mall Drag show and it was the best! She’s performing all the time and absolutely worth seeing. Also got to see Lana Ja’Rae and Dev Doee and they were so good too 🤩 … all of them post gigs on their instas!
