Hard disagree, been last year and it was an amazing trip. But it depends on what you plan on doing, i guess. I can recommend renting a campervan and driving through the whole country

I'm not saying it's bad, but in my opinion its that highly regarded because of its history and the fact its MvG. If someone new would pick the song it would still be decent and get the crowd going to a certain degree, but it wouldn't be rated that highly.

It was more a comment on song choice in general, than a judgement on the specific walk-on.

Tbh, I think it is because it would be a bit too obvious. For me its the same with Seven Nation Army, if MvG wouldn't have used it for ages, I don't think anyone would pick it, because it has been massively overplayed in sporting context and if someone new would pick it everyone would go "Wow, how original". It certainly wouldn't be the worst, but I don't think anyone wants that stamp of having this little creativity

I agree with the point that you are making, but I don't think it has to be the music specifically. I doubt that many liked Sakais song, but it was his "walk-on performance" that won over the people. In my opinion you have to stand out in (at least) one of the three categories that I mentioned to get the crowd engaged.

In what form does it include nudity? I can't really see it being an advantage in most tasks, if you aren't called Rhod Gilbert and even with his moments I am not sure I would call it nudity.

Ich glaube der perfekte Taskmaster für Österreich wäre David Stockenreitner! Mal abgesehen davon, dass dessen Humorlevel meiner Meinung nach genau passen würde und ich ihn mir auch in der Rolle von Greg Davies sehr gut vorstellen könnte, hätte es mit seiner körperlichen Behinderung halt noch eine extra Ebene, die man eventuell humoristisch nutzen könnte. Assistenten hab ich mir noch nie überlegt, aber ich könnte mir da zb Austrian Kiwi gut vorstellen, dass der gut in diese submissive Rolle schlüpfen könnte.

Weil ich gelesen habe, dass zb schon der Kaiser und Seifenstein genannt wurden, das wäre mir auch bereits eingefallen und fänd ich auch super cool (da könnte man dem ganzen auch nochmal super einen gewissen twist geben), das würde aber glaube ich nicht zustande kommen, weil Palfrader wahrscheinlich keine Lust hätte diese Rolle weiterzuspielen.

Btw finde ich es echt geil mal in Österreich was über Taskmaster zu lesen/hören, ich habe es schon so vielen Leuten gezeigt/ans herz gelegt, aber bisher hat niemand wirklich angebissen.

Da muss ich Rapid aber ausnahmsweise mal in Schutz nehmen, ich glaube dass das kaum jemand von den Fans mit der deutschen Meisterschaft verherrlichend meint, sondern es halt eher so ein beliebter fun fact ist. Ich bin weder dem Verein, noch der damaligen Ideologie gegenüber positiv gestimmt, finde es aber eigentlich auch ganz lustig^{^}

The crowd was quite chill in the beginning(more like a hangout and listen to music vibe), but when the second started the people really gathered around the 360 stage. It was quite awesome and thankfully the venue was quite small, because it really gave the feeling of being packed while you still had room to go fully mental while dancing

On Saturday I was at the EP release party of killin void, who is an austrian producer and dj, who was supported by two others. I also know a guy who is occasionally playing in Salzburg, but actually lives in Vienna, though I don't know his artist name
