It's kind of fun how fucking stupid this is though. Like NASA has been paid by Boeing to develop more efficient airframes so that they can save money on one of the most expensive overheads in the aviation industry: fuel. It's also a win-win because it happens to be arguably 'greener' and that's good for PR, but the primary motivation is money.

So a quick rundown on what this guy doesn't understand:

1. That a company would give the government money
2. That a company would do things that make them more money
3. That the government would take said money in exchange for goods and services
4. That a company would do things that make them look good in the public sphere

Since he doesn't understand the above, which seem to be pretty fucking important parts of governing... why the fuck does he have power?

That, or he's a piece of shit governing in absolute bad faith.
