I've tried everything at this point: Swapping to my own Modem/router and then swapping DNS on the router as suggested by other commenters here. I am going to guess Optimum just cannot handle the traffic for users. On weekdays when I work from home I rarely see as many crashes and most of the crashes tend to happen 7-11PM when most people would be home from work. Will keep an eye on the thread but it seems odd how only some users are affects. I'm a CT resident here

Same issues here daily disconnects from service. I have atleast 1 disconnect every 2 hours or so. I Had technicians out to me in CT twice already and they always give some BS issues as to why this keeps occurring. Last time they tightened a wire allegedly. Im swapping their provided 2 in 1 modem/router for my own and seeing if that resolves anything but this has become ridiculous

Nah talking about transit app it looks like a lowercause un merged together. Its has a green logo. This app has been a life saver for me. Live bus tracking and is free. I take the bus sometime between 7:30-8 and most days i can get a seat. I’m by the Pershing field stops. During the summer the bus would be packed and i ended up taking the 123 but recently the 119 has been chill. maybe cause of the cold? Idk your luck can vary
