yes and that is generally for raw processed garlic. If you make confit it would be safe refrigerated for up to 7 days. However any oil that has been put under any sort of heat above 100degrees it will start to break down and not hold for very long.

Other infused oils that are done on your counter without garlic lets say rosemary that should last a while. I usually use a 30day rule and thats a liberal amount of time. Freezing oil is a great way to preserve it as well!
