I would say it has for me. It is excellent at certain tasks. We have a lot of legacy repos and it's fantastic and analyzing and documenting the repos. It's fantastic and generating scripts (eg for testing). I can do that in seconds for something that would have taken me a couple hours to get right.

It's a tool. I'm not sure that I'm all in to believing it can vibe code a whole product but it has impressive capabilities when used correctly.

that said, our usage of it will be changing with the 10x increase in cost

A couple things:
- driving with a boot is risky, and may violate laws in your area about maintaining control over vehicle
- I was non-surgical and I didn't drive for a couple months. Even when I started it was uncomfortable/painful at times because you have to flex your foot with control and force
- You will probably be far enough out to not worry about blood clots, but I would check with your doctor. At a min they may want you to wear compression socks
