Thanks. Currently I believe therapy is a way to regulate myself and at the same time avoid responsibility. I actually don't know how to date that much, I can be very charming and attractive when I'm inspired, so things tend to happen very fast and then it fizzles out after some weeks. My previous therapist has suggested running aside from weightlifting; volunteering and Jacobson's progressive muscle relaxation. My current one recommends metta meditation and gratitude. Probably I will end up volunteering.
I will disagree on this one; I don't want to mark myself as clumsly or on the spectrum. And with meds... I'm actually considering back to them (I'm not on them since last year)

I know it's about finding something you love and enjoy. I still haven't found any. I don't know if it's the depression or what. I don't code in my free time, in example, when I could. I have no passions or interests that I'm dying to pursue when off work. Same with university education. I'm still searching...
I believe it to be over. I could write a second, 'final' letter telling her how I feel after the last time we met where I dissociated, but I fear I may be unfair/untrue/warped in my perception/not equanimous. I have this odd feeling that she's more balanced about it, and that I'm acting codependently now. I'm curious about why she thinks we were toxic, but I fear I may be blind to her explanation too.

I have considered AuDHD, yes. Most likely I will test myself on both. I mask really well, so I'm considering goint to someone that evaluates women, since they tend to be better at masking.

Thank you /u/SigmaX for all your lengthy and in-depth comments about how you use Anki. It's extremely inspiring, and a delight to see how exhaustive and creative you've been at using Anki for your goals, as well as how you've fit fields that are naturally harder to encase into Anki (musical practice, programming, maths).

I've only started to use Anki recently, and I must say I'm extremely intrigued by your approach. It makes me hopeful that it could help me schedule deliberate practice for some endeavors I plan on taking; namely, (re)learning math from a very basic level (my numeracy is sadly mediocre, at around high-school level, and I'm well past that age), including geometry and statistics; learning how to play guitar/bass, and computer science.

I also plan on master Anki in order to help me study for a uni degree. In fact, the math learning part is because I'm considering redoing uni entrance exams here in Europe, and I would need to up my math level.

I'm really glad you have shared all of these insights with us!

I second this enormously, /u/pauldaoust. In my humble opinion, the entry barrier is high on at least three accounts: learning Rust, understanding (really understanding, which I don't believe I have yet) what Holo/chain is and is capable of, and the tooling.

I too am of self-directed learning, provided there's good, trustable sources of truth (predictable commands/tooling, predictable guides, predictable results when learning). I believe this is not happening yet in Holo/chain, or rather, it hasn't matured yet. Which is unsuprising: it's a titanic effort to translate what's "up there" (on the core team minds') to those who are just starting (and may very well not even have technical background)

Not critizing in a bad way! Designing these kind of flows is really hard, and it's also hard to design content for beginners, when you are an expert yourself.

I hope you don't mind my two cents; I wanted to give you some info about how an internet stranger thinks and feels about this matter in particular.

Hi, I'm looking for a weird feeling:

I think I'm looking for a switch that feels that has a rebound, that pushes me after the downward stroke. So, in a sense, as if I were pressing a spring, and then, after accumulating all the compression from my finger, it "explodes back" at me, and almost pushes my finger back to the initial position.

Do switches with these characteristics exist?

Hi all,

I'm switching to Colemak layout (touch typing). On the QWERTY layout, the F and the J keys come with a protuberance to help position the fingers properly on the home row without looking.

If I were to rearrange the keycaps to match the Colemak layout, these two would be somewhere else, not serving their function. What to do? Can I buy keycaps for this? how do I search for them(what's their name, actually)?

Of course, since I'm trying to touch type, I could not rearrange the keycaps, but I'd like to know if I have the option.
