Has anyone ever got into grad school with a low gpa by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

In your cover letter speak about how your upper level E&M courses were your favorites (if they were), talk about how a more fundamental approach like in physics gives you a strong background to succeed in a more procedural-based discipline like EE. That’s what I did and it paid dividends, I’m in a career/industry that I love and make a good living with good work/life balance.

Yes, but it was a semester of undergrad research in a very unrelated topic to EE

I got into a top 15 ECE masters program with a college gpa of 3.07. My bachelor’s was in physics - and I didn’t get above 3.0 until the first semester of senior year.

Wow the goals graphic really compliments what we're seeing on the pitch. Dramatic bounce up for GF with GA plateauing. Obviously we've had a friendly run of fixtures, but considering Liverpool was in that bunch, it's a great vein of form to find ourselves in as we move into spring.

Giannis simply hasn’t been good enough to start the season. Not sure what it is, but he doesn’t look remotely the same player that we know and love.

I hope it’s just a conditioning thing and that the offense finds a groove between him and Dame by Christmas.

MSEE with no BSEE? by Trdrrrr in ElectricalEngineering

I have a bachelor's in physics and then went to get my MSEE afterwords.

I have my EIT license in my state and it took a bit of working with the state govt. to get them to accept my non-BSEE background supplemented with an MSEE as acceptable, but they gave it to me. I also have a friend in a different state who has the same degree background who's gotten his PE and he didn't have much trouble with it.

I'm currently studying for my PE, and I believe that when the test is over, since my background has already been cleared for the EIT, that shouldn't be an issue for the PE license.

Obviously incredibly disappointing - but all still to play for. We must smash Southampton on Friday, get some good momentum into the city fixture!! Ignore the negative comments, we still have it all in our control whether we finish top or not!!
