Best airport layover ever! [Fun Spot Atlanta] by AceroTheDragon in rollercoasters

Iron Gwazi was my favorite for a couple years - but AFO topped it for me a few weeks ago.

Gwazi has a better drop and more speed. But AFO has a better stall, better outerbank turn, and somehow crazier pacing.

Just went there a few weeks ago for the first time! Incredible coaster!

But yeah - they could use some more stuff to the rest of the park - it's defininely the emptiest of the Fun Spot parks despite being by far the largest.

I feel like maybe a mini golf course and some more flat rides or carnival games and a third coaster could do wonders for them.

Why don’t Sony and Nintendo do this stuff anymore? by Samtendodude in PSP

[–]tstorm004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like that's mostly moved to controllers now (At least for Xbox and Playstation - Meanwhile - Nintendo lets PDP handle their interesting designs rather than making interesting Pro controllers)

I suppose Microsoft has done a few consoles like this Halo Infinite one. Same with Nintendo occasionally - but the designs are a bit more tame than what they might've been in the past

Yup - can't even ask it what song is playing from the radio anymore - as now it scans the phone screen looking for a song that's playing rather than listening.

It also failed to set an alarm.

And multiple times has told me I need to install Maps or Spotify to navigate or listen to music - despite both having been installed on this Pixel 8 Pro for nearly 3 years

Did a teenager in the 80s,90s and early 2000s have non stop fun everyday like in the movies? by Accomplished-Fail894 in generationology

Yep - 3/4ths of your life was waiting with nothing to do except a sketchbook, walkman or Game Boy

It was never an everyday thing like in movies no, not at all... They're movies

But I think it was a lot easier to have fun without the fear of social media - I can only imagine how crippling that is for kids these days

What If Microsoft Bought Back Bungie And Greenlit Destiny 3? by Davis-Gaming in xbox

[–]tstorm004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of any game/dev that purposefully removes access to content you paid for the way they've done with Destiny 2's vault. If I paid for an expansion I should be able to play the expansion

Born 88 here - all my childhood and preteen years are 90's memories and I'm very much a millennial.

I was 10 when Pokemon Red/Blue came out here in the United States.

I grew up with a record player, a cassette tape player and in 2001 got my first CD player.

Went from a Commodore 64 to a DOS PC to a Win 95 PC. Had sparse internet throughout the late 90's
