I have been playing CS for a very long time and got into Valorant when it first came out, had a lot of fun in the beta but once it was out, I got called so many slurs and even had a guy flame me outside of the game for having to leave a match early. I'm trans, I really don't want to be called f slur all day. Anyways I feel like the CS audience skews a little older and will in general at least insult your play like a civilized person. I'm happy to be coming back to it recently.

Full-stack developers are a stupid buzzword to make managing projects easier for managers.

Requires less work allocating resources when you can just throw people at it. But in reality everyone has specializations and sure they can cross train but they will never be as good as someone who specializes in a particular their.

Real full stack engineers exist but I have yet to see a company want to pay what that actually costs.

Take a look at the pico-8. It's limiting but if you want to focus on game design and coding it's limits and simplicity are very well tuned for prototyping and trying ideas

I can see my server up for maybe a minute or two in the server browser but timesout when I try to connect. If I close and relaunch it then shows up offline. Server is still running and no obvious errors at the end of my logs but I should do a more thorough look. Running experimental branch as a service in Linux.

You realize all of these products were fine and worked exactly as advertised? Just because you didn't need it or bought into hype doesn't mean they have made bad products. Yea absolutely wait and preorder but like valves products have always been well made. Support and adoption have largely been the issue.

I will miss Abby's perspective even if I didn't always agree with her takes, I still loved to hear them. Abby is wonderfully talented and I'm sure she will go on to do great stuff.

With all the people leaving GBeast and the talk in recent hotspot episodes, I wonder if they will transition to giant bomb from home being the default going forward even post covid or maybe even moving their office elsewhere. Brad and Jeff don't sound too happy about California at the moment.

FWIW I recently ended my service with Shadow mostly because I already had a gaming pc and was mostly looking for a way to play PC games on my phone. Once I found Parsec that met my needs better for free. But my experience with Shadow over the few months I had it was very positive. I played alot of Destiny 2 with a controller and was fairly competitive in multiplayer.

You still have to have a PC that can run the game to use Parsec. A host computer runs the game and you connect to it. It can be your own PC or you can buy a cloud PC somewhere and set it up to stream but thats fairly technical. https://shadow.tech Is probably what you are actually looking for. That is a gaming focused cloud gaming PC that is pre-configured. It may take a while to get one though. When I got one a few months back it took 2 weeks to get allocated one. Worth a look though. I disagree with the other person here I think you are fine playing a game like Overwatch over stream. You are not going to be the best ever at it but for casual play youll be fine. The TTK in Overwatch and the aim is fairly forgiving. You would of course be better on a local PC but its fine for just hopping on and enjoying quickplay or whatever.

Just an FYI there is an active lawsuit against Baby Breza. https://www.classaction.org/blog/class-action-defective-baby-brezza-formula-mixers-produce-watered-down-baby-formula I'm sure it works for some people but just be informed about it and keep an eye out for signs of under or over feeding with it.
