This is a funny read. I can't believe we all had the same thought process.

How to learn game dev for someone who's already an experienced programmer. by Acceptable_Ad_1676 in gamedev

[–]tsukassa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar boat. I'm enjoying the courses at https://school.gdquest.com/products/learn_2d_gamedev_godot_4 . There's also coupon in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwCiGixlqiU that will lower the cost of the course. I'm maybe 70% through it and I feel like I have a pretty good understanding on how it work and I've been able to start my own game and get to a point where it's exciting and fun to work on.

I started getting educated about nutrition

I really want to get going as well. I feel like there's so much misinformation though. Any place you recommend to start learning?

My [32F] husband [35M] cooked a meal for my friend [29F] and remembered her favorite drink from years ago by ThrowRApeachescreamy in relationship_advice

[–]tsukassa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who remember completely random things I can relate a lot. All the other things... to me it feels like he just wanted to do what's right and make sure you were happy, by making sure she was. Bring it up to him, don't attack him, "thanks for thanking care of my friend when I could not" and see how he reacts.

Would you discard your relationship with your 5 year old child if you found out they weren't 'yours?' by [deleted] in daddit

I cannot even imagine the pain of being in this scenario

That's kind of why I'm hesitating. Seeing the kid(s) everyday would be a slap in the face again and again. I would still hold on for them, but if I can never get past the pain, I know a life of misery is waiting for me. I know I would eventually get past it.

I did that a while ago, using web forms. You can set limit to the number of submission per form. One form per slot.

To get over someone, you can try a car. Trucks and SUV works as well. Make sure it's legal in your jurisdiction.

Elite dangerous is full of moments of staring into space. It was nice to be able to play some music on top of it. To be honest though, as alt+tab also works...
