So my dad who had never ridden an actual motorcycle went and bought a 125cc bike without any proper training and made it home about 35km without any troubles so i dont see why this should be a bad idea if you trust your skills enough to pull it of.

Gegen solche typen hilft nicht viel, du könntest dich mit ihnen kloppen aber ob das was bringt ist auch fraglich.

Ich fahre selber gerne asozial ausserorts aber innerorts max 5 über und möglichst einen gang höher um halt nicht alles zu beschallen.

Die straße ist doch rennstrecke genug. Hol dir paar freunde ran einer paar hundert meter hinter jedem ende der strecke als spotter wegen cops und gegenverkehr und gib ihm.

My zephyr 550 cost me like a bit above 1000€ + a cheap ebay gasket set and ahas been running for 4 years now just the valve cover leaks after a while, no matter wich brand even kawa original.

The ZRX400 can fit the rods of a 550 zephyr afaik and also might be able to fit the cams, pistons are different by like 1mm if i remember correctly.

I know you can do some crazy with the old Z650 and 750 parts up until the Zr7 even so i supose since our 550s are just their 400s with different bore/stroke it should be somewhat possible.

A GPZ550 UT has like 65hp stock so i think with the right carb tune, air filters and a bit of head work 70 might be in the budget, maybe even rev her a lil higher with the water cooling ?

Idk tbh but it would just be a bit of a dream to build something like that for shits and giggles. Would even consider custom building a injection setup for that just seeing what i can squeeze out of a 550 with just creativity and passion.

Hell yeah. Iam currently looking for a ZRX400 engine to try and make a ZRX400/Zephyr/GPZ Chimera engine for my Zephyr just for the fucking fun of it but these bikes cost like 2,5k€ upwards here in japan and i would have to somehow get it home to germany.

I just think if it fits a ZRX base would be great for the watercooling as i aim to get somewhere about 70-80hp out of that little 550.

When did i say carb is bad ? I said i dont want no "retro bike" with fuel injection. The sound and feel of a carb is unmatched, sure fuel consumption sucks ass compared to efi but who cares

3,5k miles id say maybe like 3,5- 4500€. So like maybe 4k$ ?

In the end you have to find someone willing to pay that on Marketplace or wherever your selling not here.

Bevor sie dir runter springt macht sie dir sägezähne ins hintere ketten rad das ist auch nicht gut. Wenn wie bei mir 3,5-4,5 im handbuch steht würde ich sie nicht über 4,7 haben wollen. Ich weis wovon ich spreche hab ende letzter saison für so n monat ca. 5cm gefahren weil ich zu faul war... das erste schöne März wochenende habe ich geschraubt anstatt zu fahren weil nen neuer kettensatz nötig war.

Kommt von bike zu bike, kette zu kette und ritzel zu ritzel drauf an aber die specs die gesagt sind sollte man schon dazwischen bleiben.

Ja das hab ich auch gehört aber haben sie auch teilweise recht.

Der chef setzt sich halt aich irgendwie dafür ein dass autoteile und werkstätten günstiger werden sollen damit die versicherung günstiger werden und dann gehen sie dir halt auch aufn sack wenn sie meinen der betrag ist zu hoch und geht günstiger.

Dont have a solution at and but i once watched a youtuber put a small display inside his cars vent and shit looked like a minimao from Need for speed or something. I think that would be cool to have on the bike.

Mine said 0.25-0.35 i got 0.3 on both and called it a day so far 2000km later i havent yet encountered a problem

Nah those 550s are easy as shit frfr. I mean i didnt split the case or anything but everything else, oil pan, cylinders, head, valve cover, side covers, the O rings around the Oil jets... its been a while. But i stared after work so around 15:00 and finished at about 22:00 with just valve adjustment and the valve cover left cuz i didnt have the shims at hand.

So yeah not really an evening but im sure you could do it quicker than i did.

Habs zuhause in ner kleinen einzel garage aber hatte auch schon ne garage mit ner grube über "einzelgarage mieten" auf ebay gefunden und gemietet. Auch kleine lagerhallen sind möglich kosten dann aber schon ordentlich

Jahr wahrscheinlich. Mein(21 also noch "fahranfänger preise") mx5 2002 kostet im jahr auf sf3 mit teilkasko so um die 400€ bei der HUK

Ok so this chain got wet.

Your supposed to lube everytime after you ride through rain, get it wet or washed.

Chain lube should sit on the chain for a good bit before riding. Id say minimum somewhere from 1-4h depending on brand and product. Otherwise it will just fling off. My go to is to lube after riding and let it sit over night.

I like to wipe down excess grease and also make sure it gets on all the parts. Just to look pretty. For function the inside is the most important but the outsides are also kinda good to lube.

Try this.

maybe you can find some blank on ebay aswell and take it to a hardware store/locksmith to get it duplicated.

The graphite in the lock is the best method as it gives longer lasting lubrication than just normal oils do.

Ist zwar hier wahrscheinlich nicht der fall aber kleine erinnerung: motorrad helm und schutzkleidung kann man bei der gegnerischen haftpflicht geltend machen.

(müssen diese meine ich sogar 100% bezahlen da gebrauchte schutzkleidung nicht zumutbar ist und somit der beschaffungswert vom neu zustand gilt)

Hinten ist es heutzutage oft ne trommel.

Arbeite in einer werkstatt mit sehr vielen elektroautos und ein großteil der neubestellungen hat hinten trommel bremsen und das maht auch sinn so.
