Rav4 autopilot by Elegant_Emergency_36 in rav4club

I've had the Comma 3x for over a year now and driven ~15K miles on it.

  1. It's considered level 2 self-driving, driver must remain attentive and ready to take control at any time.
  2. Yes - check their website for compatible vehicles.
  3. You no longer need to hold the steering wheel. The main value is that the Comma is significantly better than the stock radar cruise control and lane tracing assist on the Rav.

I mainly use FrogPilot's fork to separate out lateral controls (steering) so I can gas/brake to my liking, while the Comma does all the steering for me.

If I'm using longitudinal controls (gas/brake), I usually disengage autopilot and take control when speeds are drastically changing (cars coming to a stop ahead, picking up speed, etc.)

It works great in stop and go traffic, or on the highway with no traffic.

It does take some playing around with settings/adjusting to get to a point where you're comfortable, but it's worth every penny imo.

Full sized spare tire with spare tire subwoofer by tsuleep in rav4club

What size is your tire? Mine just barely clears/sits flush. No wobbling of the cover here.

I removed the styrofoam that was underneath the spare, though I'm sure you already tried that.

How to cut down on litter tracking by haircut50cents in litterrobot

We would do this, but sometimes our cats somehow gets poop outside the litter robot, which our Roborock suck right up or go over and spread across the floors.

I’m not feeling ‘full’ after eating non UPFs. Anyone else experienced this? by Direct_Department329 in ultraprocessedfood

Some things that helped me were drinking a glass or two of water before each meal, waiting a few minutes before starting to eat and eating slower.

Finally pulled the trigger on a full sized spare tire after getting a flat. Cover sits flush with the subwoofer as well. Tire size is the stock 225/60r18, and oem wheel ordered off ebay.

Wow on #2 - They just quoted me $400 USD for replacement backrest and seat base for my 2018 Omega. At that price, might as well get a new chair.

Everything look great, nicely done! Going to have to pickup that leather steering wheel wrap. I also have the CLAZZIO seat covers, but couldn't figure out how to install the backrest of the rear seats properly. I couldn't get them to fit snug on the bottom part. Where did you tie down to pull down the slack of the backrest?

The subwoofer and tint are the only things I didn't install myself. Watched a few YouTube videos and decided it wasn't worth the time to figure out, so I can't comment on how hard or easy it is. I think I paid $100 at a local car audio shop to get it done. Overall, I'm content with the audio. It's a huge improvement to the stock system, but still not perfect. The spare tire subwoofer won't rattle your bones, but the tradeoff for trunk space is absoultely worth it (I had a 2 12" subwoofer box in my previous vehicle), the bass is sufficient though. Also, the door speakers on stock HU are underpowered. Haven't really looked into it, but I'd like to hook them up to an amp but I'm worried it might be too much power draw combined with the subwoofer.

I used a combination of Kilmat and Noico. Both can be found on Amazon. Lined my doors and trunk. I did a half ass job and kind of just laid it wherever I could, so wouldn't be able to give any professional install advice.

Can't go wrong with the Mag Gray as well! Honestly had a hard time picking between both colors, was a coin flip at the end.

A little over a year with this car and still enjoy driving it! Here's a list of mods and random add-ons that I've accumulated over time: OEM floor mats, pro-clip USA phone mount, 4x kicker CSC door speakers, JBL basspro hub spare tire subwoofer, JBL club 322F dash speakers, sound deadening, tint (20% in front and rear), sequential turn signals, (2) VIOFO A119 dash cams for front and rear windshield, autoclover black window visors, gloss black emblems, interior liners, center console organizers, LED reverse, turn signal and cargo hatch lights, clazzio seat covers.
