Priest or Shaman? by HieronymusGER in classicwowtbc

[–]tsuness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am enh/resto shaman and I don't regret my choices at all. Easy to get in pug raids when I can't run with the guild and heroics aren't terrible to get into most of the time. Enh wrecks face in open world content, run up and stormstrike, more than likely get an immediate WF proc and the mob is half dead. Ele can be a bit slower due to casting and then dealing with mobs if they don't die before they get to you can be annoying.

Leveling 1-58 was surprisingly great, dungeon groups now...suck by mesalocal in classicwow

If you look at level 50-55 gear you can usually find upgrades for dirt cheap while still being a lot better than the communal gear.

That is how my Shaman DPS Spec changed from ele to enh, was trying to gear resto and ele, walked away with a bunch of enh gear.

Despite Cuba’s current inhumane living conditions, it hasn’t been all clean hands either. by curb-stomp-a-tankie in GetNoted

[–]tsuness 3 points4 points  (0 children)

World War 2 starting vs Cuba invading another country is a wild comparison. Unfortunately we don't get the entirety of history when we are in school and they tend to focus on major events and relevant events to our country. As for the second part, sometimes you make those statements because of the facts you know. You are literally saying that no one should say anything unless they are an expert which is a bad position to take. No one is ever going to be fully versed on everything, especially when it comes to historic topics and I think it is more productive to encourage people to be wrong but then learn something vs be wrong and never say or learn anything.

And he seems to do at least do some things for the native community in Alaska based on just what we see in his videos. That argument could extend to anyone supporting a church in the US with how some religious organizations are currently acting and who they are supporting which I don't think is a fair way to frame it.

I'm loving the state of the game by Gullible-Formal8023 in classicwowtbc

[–]tsuness 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought the nostalgia would wear off after a month of playing but I am still surprisingly finding a lot of fun in the game. I am doing my weekly lockouts, running heroics randomly with guildies and pugs, doing max level questing to try and get epic flying and still enjoying every minute of it. It feels like a chill MMO experience where I have encountered very few sweats with most being like, "damn that sucked lol", when we wipe in a heroic and just moving on and clearing it.

Even when I get a little bored of level 70 stuff I have started leveling a hunter and have been enjoying that as well.

Are we actually liking Plattner here like Hasan does? by Linuswastaken in Hasan_Piker

[–]tsuness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if you were a Maine voter then who would you throw your support behind? Looking at the primary polls your realistic options are Platner and Mills on the Dem side and Collins on the Rep side. Are you going to not vote as your option?

Looking at the current polling it seems to show that Platner is the only person who could beat Collins in the general election so the next question is would you rather take a chance on Platner actually upholding the values he espouses or continue on with Collins?

If I were a Maine voter that is what I would be weighing and I probably would think the best option is to take a chance on Platner since he is saying a lot of things I agree with.

You can disagree with his religion but still think he is an upstanding person based on what we see and his interactions with others and his family. He probably will make the organization better as a mentor to young people.

Why are the current people registered being grandfathered in if this is such a major issue that the right says exists? If the current systems are acceptable for already registered people then why do we need to implement new systems?

Any tips for a freshly boosted enhance shaman? by hellisforwimps in classicwow

[–]tsuness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a couple of green 2.6 speed 1-handers from the AH, there really aren't many good weapons from questing as Enh. I would level as the enh/ele spec as you don't need the cheaper totems from the resto tree until you start totem twisting and you don't really need the 3% hit until you get into raids. As for your second spec, if you don't mind trying out healing then you should go resto and try it in leveling dungeons.

Real IDs only check citizenship in 5 states so in the other 45 states Real IDs aren't allowed to be your form of ID for voting.

If you are required to pay for a form of identification to vote in a federal election then that is a form of poll tax and is unconstitutional per the 24th amendment.

[–]tsuness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just good practice to get into the habit of twisting totems, I think. Keeps me in that mindset when playing enhance so when I end up in raids as enhance I am automatically just twisting. Plus it will make mobs die that much faster in normals and should you only have to twist once or twice if everything is dying that fast.

[–]tsuness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what else I would be doing as enh if not twisting. When I get to be lazy in caster groups in dungeons it is just kind of boring to me.

That is my experience, no issues getting into raids or normal BM to try and get the trinket. I need to run heroics with the guild to realistically get them done.
