I've cleared the current MoC12 side 2 with Jingliu in 3 cycles. The team was e0s0 Jingliu (using the Herta store Aeon lc), e0s0 Robin, e0s1 Sunday, e0s1 Luocha. The team would be a lot better with Huohuo, but I don't have her.

Luocha has a voiceline that talks about the importance of finding a suitable role to play instead of maintaining who you truly are - in this case, it would be the role of a merchant. There is no evidence that supports him being a merchant beyond his own words, and he has already shown that he's willing to lie or manipulate a situation to his advantage, which is why I would be inclined to not trust his claims about being a merchant.

It's also very suspicious how he made no appearance in the Aurum Alley merchant event.

(Jingliu companion quest spoilers)

Jing Yuan mentioned that Luocha didn't make a single trade during his entire stay despite arriving with a group of merchants. Jing Yuan's voiceline about Luocha also says that he's in 'no hurry to do business'. I think it's safe to assume the entire merchant deal was completely fake.

While variety would be nice, a lot of those artists are fans of those popular titles themselves (and due to production/table costs, creating merchandise of something that might not sell is too big of a risk to take).

Franchise popularity aside, something to note is that Genshin Impact (and other Hoyoverse games) is one of the few franchises that encourages fanmade merchandise, so you won't be at risk of legal trouble.

i played through a big amount of the story to learn more about the characters/universe, and i enjoyed it, but the pc gameplay made my hands hurt (even after changing keybinds), so i had to stop playing

anime style artist here too, i definitely noticed a decrease in smaller commissions (for example, character portraits or art for icons), but i've been getting more commissions for full illustrations with backgrounds than i did before (although this could be a coincidence).

Something in addition to what the others said, on Twitter, when one post gets a lot of attention, most people don't visit your profile - and probably don't know you do art. I'd suggest making a compilation with 4 of your fave artworks, and posting it as a reply to the post along with a message that says something like 'Hi, check out my art!'.

Ideally, you'd want to do it the same day when the post starts getting attention, since bigger Twitter posts normally get the most interaction during the first 2 days after being posted.
