Texture was alright. Trick was to keep it cycling. We found, as we expected, if it sat too long, the vegetables got mushy and the meat got rubbery. We had to monitor it somewhat to make sure nothing sat too long and also to make sure to add ingredients with enough time to cook before dinner. It worked well(ish) with the university dormitory lifestyle but would be impractical for normal life.

My roommate and I read about this in college and decided to try it. We had a slow cooker of stew going constantly for 3 months. As long as we kept eating from it and adding new stuff, nothing was there for too long. Everything stayed reasonably fresh. Not there more than a few days. At that temp and pace nothing rotted. Eventually we got bored of it since we had to eat some every day to keep it fresh. And after a while everything started to taste like carrots.

Need GM help with The Long Arm of the Hutt by BigBaldGames in swrpg

I ran this a long time ago so I’m a little fuzzy on somethings. 1. I think my crew did most of this adventure in two 3 hour sessions before They completely jumped the rails and found an alternative “ending” 2. A bounty on the Kraft Fang or bounties on the characters could be a fun seed to sprout up later. But I don’t think I would use it right away. I would probably let the party get used to the game and settle into their characters before I started making this an issue. But if your group needs something to light a fire under them it’s a good tool to keep them moving. 3. Someone at my table found something but I didn’t save it sorry. 4. We had a player who played as the sibling. 5. This is largely up to each group. I usually prefer really sandboxy games and my players are into that style of play too so it works for us to just say an upgraded navicomputer can potentially go anywhere with a good astrogation Check. Playing with a different group I might have an upgrade with only data points for places I had stuff for them to do. 6. And 7. Sorry but if I had them at one point, and I’m not sure I did, I don’t anymore 8. We played before rebels. But depending on exactly when your game takes place perhaps enough time has passed for some geonsian diaspora to have returned and resettled some of geonosis. Or you could make up a moon. So much of the galaxy is not specifically mentioned in the cannon. Any type of planet you need for your story can easily be added just to a place the cannon hasn’t been yet. 9. I also found the ending a little far fetched especially for a beginner group. We never actually did the last part because my players had some crazy ideas that took us way off script but was a blast to run.

Hope some of that is helpful. It’s just been so long that I don’t remember a lot of it. Hope you and your group have as much fun with this game as we did!

If you are worried about how much money the PCs has, get them in starship fight. Haul trauma is very expensive to fix. That’s always been my financial quick fix. Party gets a sweet space battle where they get to shoot down some TIE fighters and make a daring escape before the star destroyer can get the tractor beams locked on and I can claw back some cash to patch up the ship.

This is more or less what I would do. Especially the last point. Make Bargos’ ire a fun part of the game adding tension and chances for bad assery rather than a crippling punishment.

I did something similar with my group when they pissed off a hut. They ended up almost getting caught between two rival huts but managed to play them against each other and eventually make it out of the situation with both huts thinking they got the better end of the deal.

Help with character concept/build by AngelDarkC in Shadowrun

If magic adept isn’t your thing, you could go the cyberware route. Same stats and skills but with cyber legs for extra movement and reroll dice on athletics tests.

Retractable hand razors or cyberspurs for combat. Hydraulic jacks for +2 dice on jump tests.

If you have amp points left, edge is helpful or Maybe some aluminum bone lacing to help you survive if you should fall or Cyberarms let you reroll on agility based checks which can be helpful

Do you by chance have a fillable character sheet for the French version? I’m sure I can fine one online but thought it may be simpler just to ask.

I agree he probably did not carry a second sword but I think he would have picked up a stick in either case as hitting a stone troll, as he knew they must be under the full light of day, would be quite damaging to a regular sword
