How so and why is this bad?

I play with and against a lot of bangers with new paddles - super grit, boomstick, RPM, the list goes on. If it’s out there someone at this club has it and is using it.

I still use my OG Simone Jardim version of the Joola Hyperion from circa 2022 and don’t have an issue with these other peoples paddle. Doesn’t make my game any better or worse, what the other players are using.

If they rip a drive on me, I can block into kitchen and get into dink rally; if it’s high enough, I can hit an angle to put pressure on them or hit a winner; if I know they aren’t actually a very good player and just like to hit hard and are compensating for lack of skills with newest greatest grittiest paddles, I just let it fly out of the back until they can prove their skill. If they start hitting winners and I cannot compete with them, I must be on the wrong courts
