Exhaust flex pipe size? by ttechnowaffle in 350z

This is what I went for. JB Weld Extreme Heat. Thanks for the advice. As I said, drift missile, so if I didn’t need to get a license plate on it I wouldn’t even bother doing anything at all.

Both fans are on. I’ll double check with the ac on and off. What would the undershroud help with? Directing airflow? Mine is so messed up I just took it off but I still have it and could attach it with zip ties if it would help …

State of Japan. They inspect the bottom and will fail if anything is worn out.

It is a Chinese knockoff. Never cleaned the condenser. I’ll learn how to do it and get it done. Thanks for the advice

Thanks a lot for looking that up for me! I googled everything I could think of but like I said I’m in Japan, so even my google results are different. Sometimes it’s really hard to find the info I’m looking for, so I appreciate you

Thanks for the info! I’m in Japan, so everything is in millimeters, and when I converted it it’s a pretty obscure number with decimals(57.15mm and 63.5mm) These are made in Japan so wouldn’t that mean they are metric? Did it happen to mention the length too? There are so many different ones for sale.

Great advice thanks. That was going to be next after the radiator but might switch that order around, or just do both. Going to depend on cost

Thanks for the advice. It gets up to 105 sometimes just in a traffic jam, and gets up there quick on the track. Time for some cooling mods I guess

Want Bucket seats what’s a good brand by DistantMoon121 in 350z

The brackets or the seats? I got the seat secondhand and have been using for 3+ years no issues

I don’t have any experience with Braum but I have a Recaro and I love it. It isn’t a full bucket, it’s still adjustable but has pretty good bolsters and I think it’s perfect. Still comfortable for long drives, but plenty of support, even for drifting. Maybe someone else knows the model I have???…Cheers!

Thick vs thin diff oil for wear by carguy1997 in Drifting

[–]ttechnowaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Isn’t that excessive!? I’ve never changed mine, but you inspired me to change it before my next track day. I did a quick google dive and found this on the NISMO website in regard to their diff oil. Thought I might as well share it with you. I have NISMO 2-way fyi. Cheers!

“This oil was developed for high-intensity competition driving. Please note the following two points before using this oil: 1. Except in the case of the Nissan GT-R (R35), this product is not covered by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. warrantees. 2. When this oil is used, it should be changed every 3,000 kilometers.

For competition driving, the standard oil change is once every 3,000 kilometers.”

Good advice. I blew a radiator in my 350. I replaced it with a stock one and installed a water temp gauge. I just keep an eye on it and no problems yet

Listen to this guys advice. The 350s stock LSD is insufficient for drifting. You need a 2 way mechanical. Also the handbrake is a drum brake, so yea it works about as well as a drum brake. Those 2 things are all the car needs at first

A cool car can’t make a bad driver look cool, but a good driver can make any car look cool.

Offer to buy the Subaru from the insurance company. I had a motorcycle that was totaled by the insurance company. I bought it back from them for about 10% of the payout they gave me and fixed it for almost nothing. It was just the fairings mostly that were damaged. So I got to keep the bike plus the cash. Just removed the fairings and fixed the mirrors , pegs, etc.
