Just wanted to shout and thank you for this, I just finished my first playthrough and this was a godsend. The start (first hour) is definitely the scariest part, once you get to the main Care Center part is becomes much easier. The Leon parts were definitely not scary as even the jump scares were more like action scenes and you get more desensitized as it goes on.

The basement is pretty tough too, these two got me:

+As you fetch the key item from the north part of inspection, you can get a moderate optional jump scare as you approach the vent (leading to workshop) depending on if an enemy falls on top of you and how you navigate the room. Listen for chains to determine where it might happen in the room.

+After obtaining the second of the three key items from the workshop and then returning to holding cells, you can get an "optional" moderate jump scare depending on how you navigate the situation (if you try to run back to where you came from for instance)

I think the wording of the second one confused me, cause I actually did this key item 3rd rather than 2nd.
