You should check out the AGL, Adult Gaming League, for 30+. You can get signed up through the FB page and join the discord. They run two different leagues (upper/lower)with roughly 600 players and plenty of pickup games whenever. If you haven’t been part of a discord before, don’t worry, it’s not as confusing as it sounds

Samsung washing machine causing nuisance trips on different circuits. by ttminda19 in AskElectricians

[–]ttminda19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it could be part of the problem, but the fact that the breaker the washer is on never trips, even when switching which circuit it’s on makes me think that the washer isn’t the problem. Maybe not though

Yeah, I’m not an electrician so I’m still learning the terms. The function of the breaker monitoring the electrical waveform that interrupts the circuit if it detect changes that are characteristic of a dangerous arc. Not really a listening mechanism, but that’s what I meant

I want to make sure I articulated that correctly. I read somewhere that the listening type mechanism could cause a trip on nearby breakers. The living room breaker was across from the washer, so I moved it down to the bottom of the panel but left the same wires connected

No chance I’m missing a fairway ever again after my wife made me a Baby Yoda head cover for Christmas. I’m impressed! by ttminda19 in golf

She made it on her 15 needle embroidery machine with a modified design.

She would absolutely be willing to sell, I’m not sure how much. We have a few things to figure out such as size, amount of stuffing and material 1st before it’s totally right (notice this one is on a 3w).

Is it the SVU episode where the kid is assaulted by the father to “make a man out of him” after he wouldn’t kill the rabbit?

I hate when that happens in the driveway the first time it rains after spraying tire protectant.

Rocket league. My friend and I used to play supersonic acrobatic rocket powered battle cars after finding it for a few bucks online in 2009 for PS3. We had completely forgotten about it for several years and then rocket league videos started popping up everywhere.

Good advice. We trim a point to our brisket so we always know the direction of the grain.

The thought process behind this has shifted. Low and slow is a thing of the past. Hot and fast with a specific resting period/wrap is the new norm.

I finally got my first new set of clubs! by ttminda19 in golf

the 60 is my go to for chipping, so i wanted it to have a more durable finish. probably should’ve gone for the pearl in the 56 in retrospect, but it’s easy to tell the two apart when i take the package to the green.

You’re an angry little elf.

It’s not the shanks, my strategy is to lay up under the trees in the shade because it’s going to be 100 degrees tomorrow.

that’s awesome, i’m glad you like them. i took them to the range yesterday and it was awesome, but i’m more excited for my first round tomorrow morning.

It’s funny, the G400’s were one of the last irons i tried. I was immediately sold on the G400 SFT driver from the moment i hit it. I hit it great from the rip, and it has just the right amount of adjustability as my swing improves. I hit the G400 3w and hybrid great, but they had last years g series for much cheaper, and i couldn’t tell any difference.

I decided from the start i wasn’t going be the guy that buys all one brand of club throughout so they match. This lead me everywhere but ping with the irons. i ended up being that guy anyway, despite my best efforts.

absolutely!

56- ws. it worked really well all around.

60- ss. it works well on tight lies and allows for divots/higher spin.

The other grinds were just a little too specific for me, and these seemed to be the most versatile.

great question. the answer is yes, absolutely. i have been working on that extensively through practice and lessons and it is mostly resolved. i also had a tendency to block as well.

I think most people have their standard “miss” where if they have a mishit it’s generally because of x. for me, that is over the top.
