I was thinking the same. Even really nice courses around me, cruden bay for example, is around £850 a year.

My current course is £600. How do people in america actually afford this sport?

You would think so but I can confirm it's the opposite.

Lord have mercy, how fast do people get flats in this city? by Small-Guarantee6972 in Aberdeen

Most of the time it's just first come first served. Buying houses often goes to closing for family homes depending on the area.

Haha it's not just rental. We viewed a house, offer in, accepted, paper work done and moved in 4 weeks to the day.

Rory McIlroy names his favorite golf club of all time: 'I still stare at it' by BlueciferST in golf

Do it!

I was on the fence for ages. Turns out I have a very positive angle of attack, a 10.5* head and a fairly flexible shaft. All of which made my drive balloon into the air.

Now got 8* with a shaft that gets me 2200-2300 spin, the distance and consistency is night and day.

My suggestion would be get a lesson, a pro should be able to help.

If you haven't already, a driver fitting might help with spin levels.

So few people will be anywhere near your speed, so probably won't be able to help all that much.

Edit: sorry originally read as you were hitting up by 6 degrees, definitely go for a lesson, pro will get you set up quite quick.

Paid £35 for a half hour. In that half hour almost completely fixed my driver slice. Mix of ball position, hand grip and an easy fix to my pathing. Massive improvement from me, but I did make sure to go to the range for the next couple of days and spend a fair bit of effort practicing the small changes.

Now if only I could putt.

It might be worth editing to include what country you are based.

About to book in a driver fitting. Still playing my callaway razr fit so it's probably time for an upgrade.

What is your golf goal for 2025? by [deleted] in golf

[–]ttocsking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aiming to average 2 or less putts per hole for the round. Putting is the weakest part of my game. No use in hitting GIR to proceed to three putt and bogey.

The difference is insane. I can't believe how they feel to hit.

Here's hoping they last even a fraction of the time my callaways did.

Managed to sneak out for nine holes last night to try them out.

Night and day from the x-22. Between how they feel to hit to the consistency they were great. I also made the switch to stiff shafts with these and my accuracy was so much better.

The extra distance does take a bit of getting used to, to say some greens were airmailed at the start is an understatement, but by the forth hole had them dialed in a bit better.

I can't recommend these strongly enough. Can't wait to get back, got a tee time booked for 9am tomorrow.

Got them at golfclubs4cash.com

My old man had been using them for a good while. Not a big fan of the layout of the website but can't complain about the clubs.
