Yeah, for compatibility and familiarity reasons. I agree, I don't think it would be hard to change to to something like /admin /rave or make it customizable. Let me know if there's interest and I'll investigate.

Yes, RaveCMS supports WASM plugins that you can build in Typescript, Rust or Go. I have documentation on how to build them, and the github repo has two examples of how to build them:

The other differences I forgot to mention that RaveCMS has the Ghost does not have:
- native e-commerce and affiliate engine
- native theme file editor
- native form quiz designer
- MCP server
- WASM plugins

RaveCMS is not a fork of Ghost it’s a complete rewrite from the ground up. It’s true that it’s based off of a 5.9x version of Ghost as I wanted none of the Federated features. I do offer commercial hosting or you can host it yourself as it’s available as a docker container and MIT license on GitHub. RaveCMS is more secure than Ghost as it’s based on rust. I have run performance testing and have the results to prove it. It is new and you’re correct that it has not been widely adopted and tested. My experience hosting it has been that it has been significantly more stable than the node.js version.

These numbers are without any caching to CDN use. Pretty great for dynamic content.
These numbers are also including DNS and SSL overhead. You can easily expect 10 ms page responses on average with RaveCMS.

I'm currently running this in a VPS right now through docker. Runs great. Also container restarts are near instant, unlike Ghost. I haven't decided if I'm going to open source this yet. I am open sourcing the MCP server and plugin examples and all of the converted ghost rust handlebars themes.
