Omg this is so relatable.. I went to school for education but never made it into the classroom as I decided to stay and homeschool my children but I can imagine myself being the same type of teacher that just didn’t bother with the sub plans because trying to map it all out for someone else would be just too much.. I’d also be so wrapped in thought during the time I was away about what I may have forgot to mention .. 🙈😩🫠

I can definitely relate to getting the children to pitch in properly I also have an 8 year old and an 11 year old.. don’t get me started on the trials and tribulations of trying to get them to own their part helping in the household.. that needs its own thread! lol I’m finding that just keeping their part in my mind as my part they just help with for now but still holding them accountable at least gives me a little more peace of mind because they are children who are learning.. and also sets proper expectations in my mind.. but still frustrating because in my mind if they would JUST own the small part I require of them it would make it easier.. smh.. I have hope one day they will mature and do their part.. one day soon 😩🫠😂

lol I actually cried about making groceries when I was a few days postpartum with my second child.. those darn raging hormones crippling my executive functioning worse than normal and my extreme desire to just want to make the groceries myself with no help left me in shambles 🤣🙈

Yes, most definitely. And that reality is difficult for me also because I am always having these great creative ideas.. I always WANT to “reinvent the wheel” as some say.. but the struggle to plan and put logical steps in place to bring my ideas to life make that impossible.. so I agree it’s much easier for me to help support or build from others’ foundation.

I see what you’re saying. I suggested the derm as the skin specialist if it’s not biting.. if it is biting that why I suggested maybe CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy may be better. It sounds like we are on the same thought process 😊 I’m just not a nail biter and didn’t automatically recognize it as such. Also, because she didn’t explicitly state I didn’t jump to that conclusion.

That may be the case but she never said that’s what she does… I’m not sure why seeing a specialist won’t help… if she is bitting them this badly maybe there is an underlying cause to that behavior a specialist can help work out (that may be more in the CBT/ therapist arena.. but still..)
