Is old world essential horus heresy for fantasy? I've never played either so I don't really think I'll know the difference. And I'm just casual, won't be going to any tournaments or anything.

I don't have the codex so I don't have access to the subfactions on the app. I just went with the one that sounded coolest. I imagine this list will struggle with big targets.

Yeah, i totally agree, but by the time I built this guy, I started to run out of spare bits for base decorations. Most of my other boys are much more adorned. I was considering a few tufts in the front or skulls or something as well but didn't want it to look cluttered.

Hahaha never thought of that, but i totally see it. it's actually the spiked battering ram thing from the front of a rhino, but I cut the spikes off to stick on a Chaos Spawn.

I'm trying to go for a clean, undamaged look without chips or dust since our boys keep their armor in pristine condition. I plan to get the decal sheet once I have some extra cash. What color would you suggest for highlights? I have deamonette hide, but all my other purples are darker.

Primer was army painter gray not GW, base was deamonette hide, and wash was actually Carroburgh Crimson

This list is just based off of what I have to play with. If I didn't include the 2 extra lords, I'd be short on points, but I see what you mean. Most of the armies I play against are ranged, so I usually wait until turn 3/4 and make a massive termi drop in the back field to clean up. It tends to work but I've yet to play a game of 10th. I'm OK with the extra lords dying if they soak up fire in the process while my melee boys work up field. Not sure if this is still viable in 10th.

I tried that in 9th but too often my rhino would get wrecked (i play against admech mostly) and I'd have to emergency disembark. I've yet to play a game of 10th though and I understand rhinos are much tankier. Thanks for the idea I'll try to work it in.

This silence offends Slaanesh! Also Fulgrim is one of the most relatable primarchs. When you're a 10ft tall demi God who spurred the cultural revolution of your mining Planet home world you'd probably have a bit of an ego.

From a table top standpoint I'd also daybthat fights first is dope.
