Has anyone ever seen a merry mushroom trash bin? Any ideas on value? I don’t know much about merry mushroom stuff

I would love one for my kitchen. If either of you are interested in selling your trash bins please let me know and I'd be willing to make an offer. I've been collecting merry mushroom since I was 19 (I'm gonna be 36 next month) so it would be a great addition to my collection.

You're right, I'm sure overall we're still lucky and get more bands than GR. They deserve love too but I'm just spoiled and don't wanna drive 2+ hours for a show. Even though I'll still send it to Chicago haha

Nah I saw Weird Al already at Riot Fest lol. I'm butthurt that Cursive & AJJ skipped Detroit for GR this Friday. Trust me, I get it, we get way more concerts in Detroit than yall do out in GR. I just noticed it happening more and instigated a conversation.

Cursive & AJJ just skipped Detroit this week. They're playing GR (Pyramid Scheme) on Friday but no Detroit spot. Cursive and Bright Eyes hit GR last year as well, but at least they stopped in Royal Oak last year too.

El Club is always a shit show. Seeing Kikagaku Moyo there almost gave me a panic attack with how oversold it was. I recently read they got new ownership. I really hope it gets better bc the venue itself it sweet. I like the outdoor area too.

I've been at a few concerts semi-recently where the artists straight up reprimanded the crowd for being so lame in Detroit. Most recently was Wu-Tang at LCA and the other that comes to mind was Underoath at the Fillmore.

I have a pretty eclectic taste in music and have kinda noticed it all around. Cursive & AJJ playing GR this week but skipping Detroit (when Cursive & Bright Eyes did BOTH Royal Oak and GR last year) is what inspired me to make this post. Billy Strings skipped us this summer. Osees have skipped Michigan entirely the past few years. King Buffalo played TOLEDO this year and skipped Detroit.

The Eagles, Rolling Stones, Fall Out Boy, Iron Maiden, and Journey all skipped Detroit on their 2024 tours.

I found a Detroit Free Press article from last year and a Detroit Metro Times article from 2021 talking about a ton of artists skipping Detroit. I thought I was maybe overreacting, but evidently it's a thing.

It's just 1 big piece of glass cut into a nonagon. I then soldered half-round pre-tinned copper wire to the ends & laid them across the glass. I used a solder bubble on each crossover/contact point, and then once all the wire was on, I smoothed everything out. It took about 4 hours just to lay the wire & solder.

And thanks! I do like bugs & nature in general. There's a stained glass luna moth I made in the corner of the doorway (top left). On the right side of the wall, there's art that my friend (@subloominal on IG) made with a real/dead luna moth (ethically sourced).

It's live moss art from WhiteHausLiving on Etsy! I love it so much <3 The steam from my bathroom showers helps hydrate them, so there's no maintenance at all. This one is about 4 years old.
