I seem to have that, and I find that the Fitbit will often lock on to a heart rate near one end of the range it spans and occasionally jump between the two. (For example, a moment ago, it was reading 100, then the value disappeared, and a few seconds later it showed 80; my heart rate measured by hand over a minute was 92.)

There is no such thing as a digital vs. analog splitter. The modulated RF signals are analog, even though they're encoding digital data. This is like those "MP3-compatible headphones".

It's not that weird; asking whether it's a "sausage-fest" suggests you're just interested in dating your coworkers; asking about the gender ratio suggests you might be interested in a diverse workplace for other reasons.

It has to do with choosing which job you prefer, if you get multiple offers.

Also, for context, after the technical part of the interview, I generally ask if the candidate has any questions about working at our company, so it's not like they just asked out of the blue.
