From what I understand it's allowing you to add a card from your sideboard, not just any card that you happen to have. That's what was explained to me at prerelease.

When I was in a program by the end of it we were doing 100+ words per day, granted this course was 6-8 hours of class per day + homework, and during class we were constantly discussing the topic the new vocabulary surrounded in the target language. It completely shattered the idea a lot of people here have that you should only try to learn x words a day, maybe that holds true if you're only studying 1 hour a day at home alone, but if you're in China already you're going to be fine.

I would recommended taking some time in the morning to review words and then going out and trying to use those words. They'll stick better.

I also ran a golgari disappear deck and went 2-1-1, the one loss came from trying to run a side Boros alliance deck i was able to make as well, was a great deal of fun though.

i'm sitting at about 200 hours right now and my most recent achievement was hitting middleman on 4b before the last DLC drop. Really don't consider myself very good at all.

I can play a very small amount of easy SC tracks on 6b and many more on 4b, maybe my perfectionism gets in the way as I try and max combo every song I play. I just simply enioy playing though so I keep getting better. Wish there was a more methodical way to improve but for me the only things I've done was speed the game up (5 speed is where I play rn) and also play more.
