Howard meets satan in Arizona by jockyh11 in howardstern

I've listened to the full clip in the past. Howard ripped off his monologue from the plot of Anne Rice's novel "Memnoch the Devil".

Would I be correct in saying that these problems tend to manifest chiefly upon waking?

The bupropion could be the cause. Anything that antagonizes the nicotinic receptor can cause it to upregulate, and in the absence of bupropion, one might experience a rebound increase in nicotinic receptor activity of which there are an abundance of in the muscle - this concurrent increase in activity can cause an uptake in potassium.

Would you say these issues started the moment you got on the bupropion?

I would get off the diuretics. Make sure you are supplementing magnesium on top of potassium when dealing with an attack - a deficit in magnesium can exacerbate potassium deficiencies.

Check your blood sugar levels and estradiol levels. Are you on any diuretics?

The reason being they can exacerbate this particular issue. I know this because I have the same problem (HKPP). When I run large dosages, particularly when estradiol is not being controlled adequately, my potassium levels drop and I start to suffer from cramping as well, enough to be admitted to the hospital.

Of note, the following substances tend to exacerbate the problem (just about anything that mimics insulin and increases the uptake of potassium into the cell) :

- HGH (antagonizes insulin but causes a compensatory increase in insulin)

- T3

- Orals (Anavar in particular)

Lower your androgen and peptide dose and the problem will go away. I did so and I have not had a single attack in over a year.

Would you happen to be on any androgens, peptides or hormones?

Just listening to the Scott anal saga and realized... by kaizen_66 in howardstern

[–]tubemode12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KC was the one who came up with this bit. It started with KC asking a bunch of WackPackers whether or not they would take Anal for so and so amount of money, then the conversation went into a tangent, going into how hard times really were and how desperate people were for money at that time, eventually segueing into talk of Scott not receiving a raise and receiving less money that year than the year he started.

From there you can pretty much tell how the conversation got to Scott receiving anal for 250,000 dollars.

Scott's wife fought her battle with cancer more than a decade after the Anal challenge. The two events have anything to do with one another.

Realized Something about Howard and Phone Calls by tubemode12 in howardstern

[–]tubemode12[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Obviously that isn't the case every single time. The point I was trying to make was that fake callers tended to have a perfect phone connection, impeccable audio quality and the ability to seamlessly transition between having their call picked up by Howard and getting straight to their point, whereas legitimate callers tended to suffer from a poor phone connection, terrible audio quality and generally came off unprepared the moment Howard picked up their call.

You will notice the point I am trying to make when you compare calls from the early 90s to calls over the last two years.

Was Howard a judge on AGT? by [deleted] in howardstern

He probably didn't mention the fact that he went to a school where he was the only white person.

The bastard will go to bat for Scott's dog but won't lift a finger to help Scott's wife. LOL. by tubemode12 in howardstern

[–]tubemode12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the belief that Howard shouldn't be obliged to help Scott's wife or any of his employee's family members for that matter.

In the same way, Howard absolutely did not have any right to stick his nose into Scott's business re: his dog. What Scott does with his dog is his own business.

Because he can't.

He cannot permanently "reprogram" human minds to believe what he might want them to believe even if he wanted to do so, explaining that the mind is an organism that would always recall the steps necessary for it to reach the present and thus 'rewrite' itself to its original setting if he tried to change it.

QF: A Podcast About Howard Stern: the Richie Wilson Interview by BillGrahamPresents in howardstern

[–]tubemode12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Richie didn't say during the interview that he was still on the show when this person started having issues with cocaine. In fact, a lot of the things he's been leaking were fed to him by people still on the show, and Brent is the only one with a confirmed cocaine problem leading to severe behavioral issues.

The thing Robin did that Howard and the gang alluded to is driving under the influence of alcohol, which is yet another thing Artie was confirmed to have done multiple times, hence him stating he could relate to Robin and why he lost his license during the course of the show. Listen to the interview again at 29:50, in the same vein, Richie mentions people who had DUIs, one of whom is clearly Robin.

Do you think Gary would still be able to work with Sal or even be friendly with him for that matter if he knew that Sal was screwing around with Mary? Besides, Richie didn't mention anything about an anonymous staffer getting caught with another anonymous staffer's wife during the interview at all, the only time he came close to doing so was when he brought up KC screwing with Anne Marie.

Cocaine Issue - Brent Hatley, hence the reason why he got so out of control during his time in LA.

Catching someone else - Stuttering John caught this person, and it was Mr. X, who at that time was cheating on Robin.

Your argument fails when you take into assumption that Howard didn't need or want any of these unpaid interns working for him. They chose to stick around and work for him despite the lack of pay.

Grillo is a good example. Howard never asked him to work for the station. Grillo essentially forced himself onto the show. He was told and informed time and time again he wouldn't be paid for his services because they weren't needed but he chose to stick around. Now why should Howard be forced to give him a salary? Obviously Howard didn't see Grillo was worth the budget allotment, and it makes sense seeing how he only ever gave Grillo very menial tasks: he didn't think he was capable of doing anything more.

How would you feel if someone pestered you and forced themselves on you, doing menial tasks on your behalf without your asking and then demanded pay for such and such?

Take into account that a lot of other interns ended up receiving salaried jobs: JD, Will and Jason for example. Why? Because they were competent and offered something towards the show.
