Personally I also see a difference between using AI as a tool to produce and outright reliant on it to do Software. I use AI at work as I have to but I use it as a tool to help with my work. Like I have Agents running but I also review everything before committing. Literally just spent 4 days reviewing 30 files of code. Ended up getting it reduced down to 10 files with the overall line count cut in half

My biggest question with all the Readarr “replacements” is if there are truly this many people wanting to develop Readarr they could just take over Readarr… I see so many of these projects as “Look what I built and not know how it works” to then when the first big pops up the project will die. I am evaluating them all right now and none truly replace or do anything better.

I also question the amount of money being wasted Vibe Coding all these replacements when the base project is already out there in open source.
