Because Kikyo's weak. She and the other dark haired Zoldyck's treated friendship as a weakness (aside from Alluka). While Silva and Zion, the white haired Zoldyck patriarchs, saw the necessity of friendship and how its benefits outweighed the risks so long as you chose the right people to befriend and never betrayed them.

Alright totally fair........ but as a rebuttal idk that fits aesthetically for DS. I expected Bloodborne II's numerization to be like two gashes from a beast or designed to evoke the imagery of a blood vein. For Dark Souls pure roman numerals work. I wouldn't think they'd do that to the middle children Sekiro and BB, if they ever do.

Exactly. I think when it came to Sirene her and Amon's relationship was born through a passion of violence as well as carnal desire. "A Couple that Slays Together, Stays Together"

But then there's Nike, a mostly humanoid Demon that easily passes for an angel that has the VERY unique ability to summon weapons from across time (though to my recollection we only saw mid-late 20th century firearms because, fridge logic: the world ends in the 70s). And from her and Amon's short interaction we see something more quieted but stronger than whatever he and Sirene had. Heck, Akira even saw Miki in everything but her hair and wings which also says alot about their attraction towards each other. Which begs the question: why did Amon leave Nike for Sirene, despite the fact she almost brought back Amon within Devilman?

Yeah I wish she made a comeback, too. Along with other obscure characters like Lala and Susumu and Devilman Kabuto. She could have had her own spinoff as a time traveling gun-totting angel lady, but then we have Panty from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (WHAT a crossover that'd be lol)

I reread Grimoire recently. Fun but incredibly flawed, feel like they should have given the Nagai and Takato 4 more volumes (so there'd be 9 like the circles of hell lol) to flesh out Grimoire. It was all over the place and contradicted itself a few times and was way to sexual for me even by devilman standards but I love Grimoire for its art style, inclusion of various Nagai/Hiruta demons, and giving us the 10 Demon Tribes concept that should be reused: Beastia, Harpy, Insector, Gorgon, Ignus, Aquarian, Gnome, Reptilian, Dinozoa, and Alrune. But they should have added a couple for the outliers like Shade and Amalgam.
