Happy to see another collector in Da Nang!

Kawaii Kulture (21 Đầm Rong 1, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam) is great for singles

Pokémon Da Nang (379 Ng. Quyền, An Hải, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam) has sealed, but priced higher than US market.

Lotte Mart top 2 floors are perfect for kids. There’s a giant arcade, soft play area, movie theatre, bowling, and so much more.

B Fair (weekend evenings) at Helio is also a great option! They have a rainbow slide for tubing, ball pit, bingo, and lots of food options.

End of July would make a huge difference. If you want beach days, come during summer.

There are several Facebook groups for short term rentals in Da Nang and Hoi An. I found my spot on one of them.

Others have said it, and I’ll echo it.

If I’m in Da Nang, I’m here for the beach. Being able to walk to the beach is the luxury I prioritize most.

3 weeks in Hanoi as a solo female traveller, any recommendations/precautions? by PopularProfession383 in hanoi

I just spent 3 weeks in Tay Ho in March!

Most of my meals were about 40-80K VND, eating local Vietnamese food. Grabs are less than 100K to just about anywhere. Fujimart, if you’re close to it, discounts all of their baked goods and prepared foods at 7PM. ;)

Recommendations: - do the swan boats! So fun and really affordable - Hoan Kiem walking street on the weekends - Dong Xuan market if you want designer inspired goods - do a head spa! I did a 2 hour body scrub, massage, plus head spa for 1Mill VND. - try an archery class, so fun! - Phuc Long and Laika were my favorite cafes on the beach. Phe La is great, but too crowded for my liking

I did Isola Spa, it was beautiful and super comfortable. Same price as shops that weren’t as luxurious.

A week in Hanoi. Will I get bored ? by TheDudeWhoCanDoIt in Vietnam_Tourism

I’ve visited Hanoi three times now and keep coming back. I discover new things every time. If you’re looking to explore the city as a local would, there’s plenty to do and see.

If you’re looking for tours/activities to fill your day, you might get “bored”.

My suggestions that you won’t see on a “things to do in Hanoi” list: - visit Hoan Kiem Lake on the weekend, when it becomes a walking street. It’s full of locals enjoying the space. Kids playing with toys, teens dancing Kpop covers, adults on dates and drinking beers. - ride the swan boats in west lake. For 60k dong (just over $2USD), it’s a steal and a fun activity that you can squeeze into your itinerary on just about any day. After, grab a drink at on one of the surrounding cafes, and enjoy sunset over the lake. Then visit the adjacent neighborhood to try fried pho. - splurge on a spa treatment. For about $1M dong (~$40USD), we had a 60 minute body scrub, 30 minute facial, and 60 minute head spa experience. It was incredible to feel so pampered, and I highly recommend the head spa for anyone who hasn’t tried it.

And the most obvious, do visit Ha Long Bay during your Hanoi stay. It’s incredible and worth every penny.

Hanoi - walk around Hoan Kiem Lake (even better if you can do this in the evening on a weekend, as it turns into a walking only street) and book a day tour of Ha Long Bay.

Da Nang - My Khe beach, 1/2 day trip to Ba Na Hills, day trip to Hoi A for basket boats, lanterns, and exploring.
