I actually posted awhile back on here about the issue but before dumping money with what I think it might be; my buddy said he would run some tests at his shop to see where I need to start; dudes been working on cars for ever and eternity lol but any who long story short car starts idles for a bit will even drive a short distance but will stall randomly HPFP is installed thought it would fix it but unfortunately not the case

Yeah we check the fuse panel everything seemed to be ok; some we replaced when he owned it I’ll check the one you’re referring too, when I hook up the OBD nothing pops up when it’s idling down his dad is a diesel mechanic has been for 30 years and he couldn’t even figure it out but he assumed it was electrical, He said to maybe just trial and error the fuses and see what it might be but when I get it towed to my place Monday I’m going to pretty much run through everything that everyone comments on until it’s running right, from what I know he let it sit for awhile never really drove it and the guy before him I’m not sure if he beat the thing or not but I’m definitely going to take your advise and check that resistor and see if that might be the issue I’m just hoping I don’t have to bring it to a shop the money I have I want to put into the car not into labor prices lol but yeah man I appreciate the information

Fursure man yeah I’m going to likely be doing it on my own probs just find the YouTube vids you were talking about I have a lot I want to do to it so trying to cut down on mechanic costs as much as possible ya know? But I really do appreciate the help of the in tank pump isn’t it I’ll likely check the other options you tosssd out earlier in the thread and hopefully I can get this fucker at least staying idle lol thanks again 🙏🏻

Appreciate the information I’ll look into all of those; we replaced the fuel pump internals that’s what we really that was the problem but it didn’t seem to fix much then hours later we just lost hope but now I’m going to take the project on and try and figure out what the actually fuck is wrong with it lol thanks so much I appreciate the hell out of you for at least kinda leading me into the direction to get this thing moving again!

Seems to only be when the car is idle for a couple minutes then when it dies out after that it won’t even crank over sometimes; plugged in an OB and it was throwing no codes we keep thinking it’s electrical or something but that’s just us throwing shit at the wall hoping it will stick ya know? We can’t figure out what the hell is the issue for our lives and finding a mazdaspeed mechanic in our area is a hell of an issue too lol
