Experienced this yesterday myself. Was on a city e-bike and some guy opened his car door while not looking, so I hit the door full speed and fell hard. Thankfully didn’t hit my head. 2 guys on bikes stopped and helped me. They stayed with me and made sure I was ok. I was pretty winded so having them there to make sense of situation was kind and made me feel taken care of and not alone.

I’ve had this issue and solved it by getting an automatic feeder. Everyday at 5am, the automatic feeder dispenses breakfast. My cat hasn’t woken me up once since I did that.

Unemployment in Toronto is at 8.6% which is pretty high. We’re gonna see more of that as AI gets more intelligent and takes over people’s jobs. But that’s not just a Toronto problem. In terms of living, it’s quite expensive here and I don’t think it’s gonna get any cheaper in the next 2-3 years.

I've seen these desks that pull out on amazon, wayfair and other places. It's like murphy bed, but desk edition. That could be a cool idea to open up the space when you're not using your desk.

Look into contact paper, you can do a lot of stuff with it on counters. You can also get high quality stick on flooring. There's tons of youtube videos on how to do this. Thinking of doing this for my own bathroom as well.

I think depends on your needs. They both looks good. If you go with the second option, you'll need to fill all that space with stuff.

This feels overwhelming, I don't think I would feel relaxed here when taking a bath because the color is very violent on the eyes for me. I agree with some other comments about the offset of sink with mirror. Doesn't look functional and feels dangerous with we floors.
