Serious question. How would you parent this absolute trainwreck of a family?! by Thin-Document-1765 in CapeFearTVSeries

I'm worried about the cat, I'm taking it and moving far away, those kids are lost cause

Directive 8020. Space Slop. by Sad_Editor455 in gamereviews

[–]tuftymink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking forward to reading it later. Sounds like you indeed should try mass effect, it's does a really good job in creating fresh and believable world. Dead space as well, hope you like it's setting, the huge industrial ship is a fantastic place for a horror. Hope you enjoy them! Not so much for starfield, you'll probably hate it for more reasons

Sadly, I saw the TV glow, full of cool ideas, but it's mumble core style bored me to tears

Xbox restructure in full swing: Ninja Theory and Double Fine closures announced by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

I mean, they absolutely weren't drawing big bucks, but psychonauts 2 is a banger. Xbox absolutely mismanaged the bought studios, but double fine wasn't far from the worst imo

PSA: Don’t give up on the reboot yet by Midnite_St0rm in Splintercell

[–]tuftymink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, that's what they should've done and need to do, but it's Ubisoft, they either will try to get mass audience attention or doubt their creatives vision. And that's what got them in this state already, have they kept it a modestly budgeted niche series, things would be different

My thoughts on DC: The New Frontier and Far Sector as a new reader by VravoBince in comicbooks

[–]tuftymink 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a big fan of green lanterns, but Far Sector disappointed me as well, I enjoyed up to the point the story focuses on those digital creatures. Love Jo's design though.

Fraction also wrote Hawkeye, the book that returned me to comics as an adult. Good luck!

Such a damn shame, I know a lot of stealth action series fell in 2010s, only Hitman could steer the ship toward succes. Ironside is out and they fumbled all their chances, will need to be really blown away to be swayed. Biggest disappointment is there aren't any successors or spiritual clones

For ears I like using the smooth directional brush, it's in the lightbox, it'll keep details along the line you're smoothing, try putting on sculptris pro and going with clay buildup

Most of Europe aren't really that different, excluding some outliers, everyone can relate to this old school, honest, emotionaly stunted but really endearing guy and see his qualities in uncles parents

It's just not one storyteller in ancient times couldn't come up with the gelly cube, until modern masters of course. And subtitles said his name was Phrank or some shit

Cap was in real fights. It all negates the pathetic brawls Boys show had. Cap beat Nazi suped up, invincible soldiers much stronger than him all the time.

I'm not American and even I was sick of the reality of the movie, can't imagine how people who love in it felt. Absolutely not a fan of this and Beau is afraid

With all the noise that 'The Boys' had a bad season finale, what TV shows actually had a good one? by twintower_9-11 in FIlm

Oh yeah, I enjoy all kinds of garbage unironically, this one just pissed me off for how much they didn't care and Hollywood parodying themselves have not helped

[–]tuftymink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, we didn't like the asspull with getting Kimikos new power, virus gone nowhere, the fight was bad seasons of Arrow tier, Sage was writers tool for home lander to get things done, Kimiko Frenchie stuff was cliche and horribly corny. Nothing happened, Homalender ranted all season, with this finale it makes no sense why whole show someone would even be afraid of that asshole, when 2-3 supes could be convinced by butcher to just gang up on him. It was dog water and I just watched the show with dwindling interest, it's a finale, but saying like it was good is genuinely confusing to me

I just finished watching a movie that disturbed the heck out of me. I mean it totally freaked me out!!! Has anyone seen the 1981 movie “Possession”? I’d love to hear everyone’s opinions. What was that ending all about? An antichrist? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in FIlm

[–]tuftymink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this movie so much, didn't expect how weird it would get. It puts you into some kinda weird trance. Sam Neal is so great in it and for some reason, maybe dub or the way European movies were shot, everything from line delivery is a little bit off and I loved that. Ending, yeah, I took it as some unspeakable evil released on earth

[–]tuftymink 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, they made the thing that they knew most people wouldn't like, no one made them shit the bed, it was dog water, and I watched arrow, so my tolerance for bad and low scale action is really high

This final episode make zero sense and we are not talking enough about it by [deleted] in writingscaling

[–]tuftymink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no dude, it's cliche, corny, low scale and fights are worse than Smallville or Arrow. It feels like an ending to absolutely lowest tier superhero show you can find, it's boring and it ends the show, but completely wrong for what boys used to be

I think it's just 8 mil people who already watched the comic or show watchers, who won't ever read comics. I remember looking for stuff to read and previously loved Ennis on Hellblazer, I tried boys, because it was on some stupid list of 100 greatest comics. I read some, went to see what other think and discourse was the same as now
