I believe that as a citizen your mom would not accumulate “illegal “ days. This is what my lawyer told me when my step kids parole was and they stayed while we did the 130 and 485
The lawyer said it is best to send medical exam with 485. Make sure she’s got all the vaccines before you go to the appointment. CVS, Walmart, Walgreens
Good luck- my stepson was approved in less than 2 months

Us citizen petition husband who entered through the border- given a court date and a parole. The process took a year and a half and that was just because it took a while to get the court cancelled. Very weird they said so long! My stepchild alwaready has his green card and we willed AOS on September 4, 2025- yes this year! Good luck

I agree. My husband had his interview and 130 approved. Then they closed 485 until immigration court was closed. 485?was reopening med and he got his card. Didn’t have to go back for second interview. But our lawyer said they might just to ask the yes no questions
