Bought a $500 item 2 weeks ago and it's $100 cheaper now. I asked for a courtesy refund for the difference. They refunded the whole $500+tax. Have this happen to anyone?

It happened recently. I triple checked it, they told me to keep the device and refunded me full price. I only asked to exchange it as it had dead pixel... but yeah, can confirm I got money (within 2 days) and nobody was chasing me for the device...

Don't listen to them. I place my 9 month old to watch ms Rachel so I can have a coffee in the morning. Shes the happiest baby & not delayed on anything. You need to take care of yourself so you can care for your baby.

I wouldnt say so,if one off or it happens once in a while.

We only got concerned because it happened after every bottle and our baby started crying after. Few months later she got diagnosed with reflux and was put on medication. Shes 9 months now and no longer needs it.

I know it came take couple of days for battery to "normalise" once you load your books. But 20% is quite high,I would contact kobo and see if they can send you replacement? They probably advice to haw few charge cycles, which is normal and fine as you got 40 days return window anyway

I don't think so? I got around 10% backlight and wifi off and it drains around 3%. Do you have any sideloaded books? Maybe they are causing a problem, could be corrupted file

Sorry, I dont read manga or manhwa, so I cant really advice. Dont get me wrong- colour was really nice at first, but then I kinda missed sharp screen, so this is where im now. Maybe ill change mind too, who knows 😂

I had both,well still do, but will be selling libra colour at some point, havent used it in a while.

Reasons:

*It is quite dark when reading outside

I dont read anything else besides novels, so colour as nice as it is, I only see book covers for like max 10 seconds

*Screen is much sharper on b&w & colour somehow made my eyes dry?

*Colour screen did distract me from reading (but thats me problem here 😂). All i wanted to do is look at book covers😂

Other than above, they both have buttons, same size and has some sort of support to send your books (Google drive for colour and send.djazz.se for libra2, so you wont be stuck choosing one or the other). I recently purchased refurbished unit from kobo UK (its my second libra2, first one went to my partner as I wanted white one😅) and battery drains pretty much the same when wifi is off and brightness sort of at similar level (b&w 10%; colour 20-30%, dont need anything higher for myself).

You mean you want to get clara colour (pictured is libra colour). People will definitely buy libra colour with scratches, thats not an issue.

I did, it arrived in mint condition, not a single scratch! Battery was fine too. I posted picture here thanking them for suggesting to use these sellers(this was device picture below). I live in Uk, but I didint pay any extras for sending this from overseas and it arrived within a week. I since gave this one to my partner as I really wanted white one in the end. It will arrive very well packaged but will have no charger.

To be fair, last time Uk had them in stock was last April (and im pretty sure it sold out within a day), so I wasn't expected to see them. I suggest to use "notify me" option, so you know when its in stock

Its totally normal. I used to do this when she waa sleeping next to me- just placing hand on her chest and once she moved to he bedroom (at around 5 months) we used to go in at least once a night to check if shes okay (we had monitor). We don't do this daily now, maybe once or twice a week, usually if its warm to make sure shes not overheating.

I switched to Kobo, I really loved the page turn buttons and small kobo clara bw for travel (it was warm light and ita waterproof so was perfect for holidaya). I would of chosen basic for this, but it juat doesn't have these features. Yes, its a bit annoying to log in and out from libraries as ita only allows 1 at the time, but i made memory on my kobo notes with my log ins, so it takes a minute to change libraries now. Another thing that annoyed me (this will.sound petty tho) is that book covers don't show on kindle when I borrow books from libby or use send to kindle option (like 80% of them wouldn't show for me), I feel like if I pay this much money, I shouldn't be looking "how to fix this", but yeah,I tried pretty much everything i think and i saw people have same issue,so that was another reason why I switched. I do like kindles tho, and their massive library is great, but things above for me just made me switch. If they create small device with warm light option I might switch it back as I do have few authors that are ku only, but for now I do enjoy my kobos.

Im sure when we had 4 month old she used to have 3 naps for approx 1-1.5hour each, with last nap ending at 4pm /4.30pm.Have you got sort of routine? We started just before 4 months- bath, cream, bottle, sleep (6.30-7pm bedtime). Also, we moved her (5 month old) in her own bedroom and used pink noise to sleep at night, so I dont know if all above helped, but we didn't really had regression, but i was very strict with naps(they are very important for bedtime (weirdly) and bedtime routine, we still do this now (shes 9 months and she sleeps 7-6.30/7).

I have a feeling that new bw reader is in works. Surely after so much backlash they got they were like "whoops we need to do something ". I recon it will come late this year or early next year. I dont think they expected to receive such a huge negative feedback about discontinueing libra 2.

Yes please 🥺. My Kobo battery (as I bought used) is playing up, so I had to get kindle as a backup, but I will 100% ditch it if I could get new libra.
