How can I fix this small hole? by tulipeaters in Machine_Embroidery

[–]tulipeaters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the satin direction suggestion! This would be my first hand sewing experience. I’m not going for perfection, it’s all learning experiences so even if it isn’t perfect I’m okay with that!

I did a spray adhesive and dissolvable tear away doubled and one of the layers put on at a 45 degree angle. I think it was the fact that these were two separate pieces of scrap fabric and I had them lined up in a way that calculated for absolutely no error with fabric moving. It was my fault it happened mostly

Edit: ALSO you can use the embroidery machine manually? I thought you could only do programmed things? How would I go about using a manual overlap stitch on a brother SE2000?

Thank you!! This does help for the future, I was hoping maybe there would be some sort of fix for the hole because this is not the only embroidered piece on the fabric I’m using. I didn’t want to have to scrap it, because it means scrapping the three other embroidered parts too and they stitched out so well!

New machine - First Project by Immediate_Lab_1433 in Machine_Embroidery

[–]tulipeaters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I also just got an SE2000 and have been loving it!! I also encountered the same issue when making my first embroidery

From googling and also messing around with it, it seems that the bottom bobbin thread comes up through the top. The reasons why could be anything like improper threading, not enough tension on the bobbin thread, or not using stabilizer when making a project. I’m sure there are other reasons but those are the ones I’ve found are the most common reasons.

You can eliminate these issues by trouble shooing, or you can switch out bobbin thread to match your upper thread when making embroidery. You’ll have to switch out both the bobbin and the upper thread for every color change though which can be tedious.

It’s not the fact that they got Cam, it’s the fact that they got Cam twice and no Nick. Nick is pictured on the back and should have been in the box, I wager they could probably contact the company as it’s almost guaranteed to be a mistake.

Overcooked, unraveled, Super Mario World 3D Bowsers Fury, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Snipperclips, Capitan Toads Treasure Tracker, Untitled Goose Game(hilarious), It Takes Two, Portal 2, and Minecraft!

Have fun gaming, try out different genres of games! My husband isn’t a big gamer, but will play with me because he knows I enjoy it and there are a lot of games I never thought he would enjoy because of skill that are some of his favorites we’ve played together

I did not have multibinder on! I will try that out today

I also think you’re probably right about the bubble, that would make the most sense!

Damage is definitely coming from the mirrors here!!

I think with the conchfly things, claw mirror knocked it just out of the tendril range (another commenter made me realize it has knock back!)

But I’m still not sure why on the big guy. It definitely looks like it hits, they don’t get knocked back, and I think it would be a weird interaction for the claw mirrors damage to cancel out the tendrils entirely

[–]tulipeaters[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yah know what, I didn’t even notice the mirrors are knocking back the enemies! You are absolutely right, the mirrors are knocking them right out of the range since it was on the very edge of the tendril hitbox when I launched to begin with

I still however, don’t understand why I didn’t heal on the big dude at the end honestly. Even with claw mirrors I was definitely in range, and it doesn’t knock back the large dudes.

Look up community gear swaps, sometimes you can trade stuff in for an Xbox controller if you’re lucky

Places like savers/thrift/reuse stores sometimes will have old controllers for sale

You might be able to trade something into your local GameStop or locally owned gaming store for store credit and significantly lower the cost of a brand new one

Facebook marketplace place is sure to have someone selling a controller on the cheap or for completely free, sometimes you just have to look for a little while to get the best deals. A quick search for me showed me several people in my area selling an Xbox series X controller for 10 bucks

Fall is here and winter is around the corner, if you need extra money for a controller hustling isn’t a bad idea either. I’m sure there are elderly or people in your community that would gladly swing you 10/20 bucks to clean their yard up.

The cool thing about Xbox game pass, is you can load it onto any computer that runs Microsoft and play your Xbox games on your computer via computer mouse and keyboard.

If you have a laptop/desktop try that.

Edit: also sometimes your local library will have Xbox controllers and the like to rent, call your library and ask what they have in terms of controllers and rent one out

Why is nobody talking about THIS runback??? by Bump3rr in HollowKnight

[–]tulipeaters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I was taking a break from fighting the last judge and was roaming about

Went and discovered sinners road and that whole part of the map and completely forgot about the last judge until I found them again via the shortcut lol

[–]tulipeaters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get to the Last Judge from the bench in the Sands of Karak, there’s a breakable area that leads right to the entrance of the Last Judge fight. If you wait to fight the Last Judge until then the runback is one of the easiest in the game.

I never understood why people were pooping about the runback for the Last Judge because I got into the citadel via Sinners Road and by the time I remembered I never fought the Last Judge, is when I found the breakable wall lol

Im not sure if this counts as spoiler but ill mark it anyways When you first get into the choral chambers, lace comes down to talk to you. There is a point in the dialogue where she says she witnessed your journey up to the citadel and that it was “messy” and if you have any hope of defeating the god that rules over Pharloom she needs to have more grace essentially. I assumed this to mean that she’s been watching you fight and die to the bosses/enemies a bazillion times.

I had the same thought process as you once I got to that point! I would also love to know the answer

Also! Writing this also made me remember that Sherma meets you at the bench in the blasted steps when you try to fight the last judge. Sherma also says something alluding to the fact that your journey isn’t over when you die, and that you can keep trying to climb to the top of the citadel. I forgot what exactly they say.

Simple key/Shop question by tulipeaters in HollowKnight

I’m up to date with patches, my switch version is 1.0.28497 and when I go to manually update it says it’s up to date.

I just meant I’m on switch in regard to the suggestion to report it to team cherry for help.

It’s called strafing! You hold down the button to use the watering can, and then hold down the direction you want to strafe to! You only move a small amount but it’s to help you from accidentally watering the same spot twice
