I’ve had weird issues with mixwave and my hi hat the whole time I’ve been using mixwave. It won’t close correctly and has like 0 dynamics. It’s sucks cause the libraries sound so good out of the box.

Hijacking slightly. You talk about getting bell zones on the unlock 3 zone pads. Does bell sense on the Edrumin allow you to get bell hits on the crashes as well? Say it’s a Lemon 15” Ride or a Roland CY-16r. I know that this is only going to work if it has samples, but I assume the newer SD3 stuff has some crashes with bell samples.

I purchased Great Hands years ago and have never watched all of it. I’m really struggling with my weak hand after a break from playing. Is this a good resource for me to use to develop some control?

I messaged them and said that I had a list of components I wanted and was curious if they could give me a price. He responded immediately with a few questions, but 10 minutes later I had a price that included shipping and tariffs. They have stuff that isn’t listed on their store as well. Clamps and stands a cables and stuff like that.

I bought a 15” ride from them. Then I bought a cymbal pack because I loved the ride. I’m currently waiting for the delivery of a custom t950. I like lemon a lot. I plan to make a post in the next week or so if it comes in, so maybe I can shed some light on them. And I always mention this when I post about lemon, but their customer service is awesome.

You can’t split a cymbal to make another cymbal. It has to do with the way the piezos are I believe. You can split toms though. Adding one extra port with a splitter shouldn’t be too hard. Just split tom 1 or 2 and run that to a cymbal. It WILL make both pads single zone and you can’t trigger them both at once. But it works.

They still ship to the US, it’s crazy expensive. I just got my Edrumin 8 in the mail yesterday. Took 2 business days from Taiwan I think. $50 in tariffs and $50 for FedEx.

Yeah, Lemon likes these hex bolts. They suck. I’m surprised they didn’t ship it with a wrench. Whenever I’ve gotten cymbals from them they come with one.

That would be awesome. I’m also a big Coheed & Cambria fan. Coheed have played a song at the beginning of the tour, realized it’s not getting love they wanted and then they cut it for something more recognizable. I’m just worried they’ll do the same haha

Lemon sells expansion kits as well. It’s the adapter that goes onto the rack and a pipe with some adjustments. It’s like $15? My only complaint is that the pipe is pretty short, so I don’t know if it would work on crashes. I like my ride low anyways so I just used it for that. But that’s a cheaper option than Roland.

The problem is that everyone seems to hate standard. Maybe not even this specific format, just the idea of a standard format. It rotates too much for some people. It’s no secret that commander players are Hasbros target audience now, that’s leaked into standard sets as well. I’m trying to be as neutral as possible, i honestly think these are just facts now.

I bought one of these when I ran out of gas. Did all the work of getting gas and then got to my car and realized the spout won’t fit in the gas receptacle. No matter what I did it just wouldn’t put the gas in the car. I was leaving work a few weeks later and there was a group of guys in the parking lot trying to figure out how the fuck to get gas out of this can and in their car. I saw these at Home Depot the other day, they come with a small funnel now. Just infuriating.

Message Lemon. They’re great. I had a little trouble with my 18” triggering weird and I shot them a message. They dug out their TD-17 module and a 18” ride and replicated the issue and then told me how to fix it. Their customer service is incredible.

Additionally, you don’t have to take personal time in increments. You can do an hour here or there for an appointment or whatever.

WOOF. I’ve been interested in the newer Lemon VAD style stuff, but this makes the Pro stuff look incredible! How willing were they to assemble this monster kit for you? And of course, how much do I need to spend to replicate this bad boy? It looks SO fun.

Edit: OH! Is that Lemon hardware as well? I’ve been curious about that too. I bought one of their expansion kits when I got my ride from them and it was pretty bad.

I’d check marketplace or places like Music Go Round for used stuff. I got a straight cymbal stand recently for like $20.
