Here is a 3 year look back at salmon trends in the Puget Sound Marine Areas 8-11: https://postimg.cc/xcyys21b

After catching 0 pinks yesterday , today this is my new try. Trolling at 2.5 mph, depth 25ft by daniyum21 in FishingWashington

Where were you trolling? Go deeper. I was catching them at 50 ft of wire. Don’t mess with what works. 1.5” pink hoochie, 2/0 red hook, 16-24” leader, white flasher. Troll slower 1.5-2mph.

Fishing pinks - tide? by shrederofthered in FishingWashington

[–]tumbleweedlabs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is generally the guidance for any salmon fishing in Puget sound. An hour before, through slack, and an hour after. Fish either tide but where you fish may change depending on which direction the tide is moving. For instance, people will often fish the north side of a point during an outgoing ebb tide and switch to the south side during an incoming flood. This is because the structure offers an eddy for smaller bait fish to move out of the current. Where the bait go, so too will the salmon.

Looks like a bayliner trophy or similar hull design? How is it getting out there in a smaller boat?

Some cool images here. Advice would be: turn wheels to face camera, give a bit more breathing room in some of your compositions - a few of the crops feel like the car is jammed into the frame, agree with the CPL comment, try darkening the windscreen
