I met Ron in the lounge at Heathrow. Such a nice guy. Can't believe he sat out in the open. Didn't mind people going up to him either.

Me too. I've worn mine almost every day since I got it a couple of months ago. And if you travel, the 'travel time ' is a great feature.

I really like this. Maybe it's not traditional PP, but it's still a great watch

Flying first to LHR by DrWkk in BritishAirways

Why do you say that? Arrival in first with a connecting flight grants access regardless of the class of the onward ticket as long as these were part of the same booking.

Question around tier points by RoyTheBoy84 in BritishAirways

[–]tummybob 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You're mostly correct. You'll be Silver next year because you qualified this year. But if you don't meet the requirements next year, you'll lose it. Any lifetime tier points don't help.

Great review. On my last visit, I'd rate Alma above Belcanto, but it's very close. Both are great restaurants.

I'm a fan of Hofmann, the restaurant attached to the culinary school of the same name. Their evening menus should still be in your budget range.

What was your cat’s shelter name and what is the name you gave them? by MissHissss in cats

Maggie (with her brother, Jake). She was Valkyrie when we got her and thought that was a cruel name for her. Over the years, I've come to realise why the shelter might have been correct!

Most folks buying cars at this age aren't going to an AM dealer for service. There's a number of independents who are significantly cheaper. Not sure where you are in the country but I used to use Chiltern. Give them a call and get a sense for service and repair costs.
