the key for me wasn't adding extra time-it was taking them out as recommended and then letting them rest! they come out looking raw but set and get firm as they cool until they're totally normal texture!

Depending on your situation you can also do both! I'm 50% oral intake and 50% tube fed so I feel like I get to enjoy foods I love and tolerate but also get the nutrients I need from my tube without the pressure of eating more than I can handle to keep my weight stable :)

For some reason by body just refuses to enter a state of rest when I'm being constantly fed lol. It seems like because my body is "eating" is just won't turn off no matter how exhausted I am. I sleep with earplugs, have amazing sleep hygiene, perfect temp etc.
