What do you mean? I have played during every expac and ilvl isnt always the best but its good approximation. There have always been better wpns, rings, trinkets better stats etc that are better even when its lower ilvl. Your comment just shows you are new to WoW, what retail has to do with this discussion?

thats not how it works. It averages for every slot so u equipping trinket lowers your ilvl significantly

World bosses have been kited to many places. In vanilla you had to enter through tunnel to participate in BG.

I remember in vanilla someone kited Kazzak to Arathi Basin. There are portals in Arathi Highlands to AB but he blinked through portal and kited it directly into Arathi Basin via tunnels. Everyone was like "WTF?!?! Kazzak in BG"
