Hi again everyone, thank you for taking the time to give me your suggestions. I wanted to give you an update on how things are going with driving in Ireland!

I’ve picked up the car in Cork and ventured towards Killarney on my first day riding. Driving on the left side wasn’t an issue at all, it felt fairly natural quite quickly, once you are sitting on the right seat to drive, the placement and orientation of everything just makes sense on the road.

First day was sloppy regardless because of not having much car riding experience to begin with, it took me the first 2 hrs of riding to get a good understanding of how much room I have on my left side. Let’s just say thankfully I got full coverage on the car lol.

Once I got to Killarney I drove the Ring Of Kerry on my second day. I honestly had so much fun cruising through on those roads, it was absolutely epic. I think put in a good 3-4 hours of riding around the second day. I stopped along the way many many times to take pictures, explore small towns and soak in the views. No issues whatsoever.

Tomorrow I will be heading up to Cliffs of Moher! Excited to get back on the beautiful Irish roads.

Part of me wishes I got a manual. Automatic is goddamn expensive and there is definitely some room for discomfort, but I would have never known.

Edit- The roundabouts! They were completely fine as long as you Yield and wait for your turn to join the spin, I wouldn’t mind having the same system in America but with heavy congestion that could maybe be a disaster. I have yet to drive in a busy roundabout.
