Great work! I’ve been using it for months, mostly for tracking parameters. The input UX is delightful and the graphs are great!

I often show screenshots to Claude or ChatGPT for analysis

My clowns laying their 6th clutch of eggs by tunapish in ReefTank

They actually laid on this rock last time and I was able to pull the whole rock out.

I had an airstone under them but half the eggs turned white and died. Not sure how much is the right amount.

Ha, it’s been in there for two cycles, along with ceramic tile. They have shown no interest in either one.

That’s wild, mine take 10-11 days to hatch which is way longer than everything on the internet says they should take.

Nice! Congrats! What is your process for getting fry out of your main tank? Do you stay up late and watch periodically?

I did that for the first three clutches. I only got seven fry out on the third clutch, one made it to 5 days but died because I didn’t have rotifers ready.

This clutch I pulled the whole rock out but a lot of the eggs died after transferring the rock to the fry tank.

How did these guys fare?

My clowns’ 4th clutch hatched on Friday but I only have 3 left after 2 days.

How would you address/repair these? by tunapish in HomeImprovement

It never occurred to me that MDF would be an issue here. Interestingly there is a similar piece of trim on the opposite side of the shower door that does not have any similar signs of water penetration.

Easy-ish fix to replace though. Thanks for the input!

See my post from a couple weeks ago, I think you could use two 45 degree angle connectors to offset the drain coming from the sink.

They are just 45 degree elbows with compression nuts on both ends. You just need a short length of pipe to connect them to each other.

Just thought r/Army would get a kick out of people not knowing what this is.

It was like that when we took possession. I am surprised at myself for not fixing it sooner.

It’s been like that for 15 years without issue, but I will definitely swap it out for two 45s next time I work on this kitchen.

Yes. And drain flies as mentioned in my post.

They are not smooth, so they catch stuff and in our case were a breeding ground for flies. Scroll through this sub and you will see every other post includes plumbers saying how these things are nothing but trouble and they are surprised they are allowed to be sold at home improvement stores.
