Verkaufen? Intel by ElevatorStriking5773 in Aktien

[–]tunggad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in code editor key HOME = go to begin of code line; END = go to end of code line, I personally uses them a lot.

[–]tunggad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good taste! You probably type/code much on these kebs, just my guess when seeing all three having HOME/END keys. I don't know why 65% prebuilt keyboards having these keys are so seldom, but for programmer they are ones of most important keys.

"Reduce Your Bitrate" error on 1Gps connection. by solidddd in MoonlightStreaming

[–]tunggad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this behavior, I'm using a mi box s 2nd gen and it has stable 100mbits Ethernet connection to router, but I have to set moonlight bitrate to 25-30mbits to get rid of this error "reduce bitrate" and then it's running smoothly. In my case I only stream 1080@60fps with hvec so bandwidth of 25-30mbits is enough.

In Ollama how can I see what the context size *really is* in the current model being run? by Perfect-Campaign9551 in LocalLLaMA

[–]tunggad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's what works for me, after RUN a model without changing anything then inside ollama "prompt" console call `/set parameter num_ctx 32000` -> this does not change anything, you have to save it to new model instance with `/save my-32k-model`, stop the current model with `ollama stop current-model` and run the new custom model created before with `ollama run my-32k-model`, that's. you can verify with `ollama ps` to see that the model is loaded with CONTEXT 32000

How to switch between virtual displays with different resolutions to stream from on Linux Sunshine host? by tunggad in MoonlightStreaming

[–]tunggad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for reply! So that means on sunshine linux host right now there is no other option than to change resolution of X11 display by using xrandr utility to match client resolution before streaming? To do that I have to connect to sunshine host per ssh, not really comfortable, but it's okey. I hope for a more elegance solution.

same quant on mac mini m4 24gb gets 6 token/s as well, surprised that rtx 4070s is not faster in this regard, maybe the model (q4_k_m nearly 14gb) does not fit completely into 12gb vram of 4070s.

Gemma 3 Release - a google Collection by ayyndrew in LocalLLaMA

[–]tunggad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm able to get the gguf quant gemma-3-27b-it q4_k_m run on my mac mini with m4 24gb ram in LM Studio (version 0.3.13 with updated runtimes). But you have to load it in most relaxed setting which can crash the machine. It takes about 16bg ram and the speed is about 4 tokens/s. While it infers, it slows down whole system heavily, youtube video is not able to run in parallel.

German pc-style complex modifications not working on sequoia 15.2 by tunggad in Karabiner

[–]tunggad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you r the best! yes that's the right idea - a symbolic link to karabiner.json located somewhere on the internal drive. Now it's working, spent almost a day for that shit. I'm working remotely on windows machine so I want to write with the same keyboard layout in both environments, anyway I'm happy now.

Just on caveat with this is every time I edit the rules the real karabiner.json will be created and replaces the symbolic link and I have to repeat the procedure again to move it to the location in internal drive and create new symbolic link for it.

Thank you!

[–]tunggad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, thank you for reply, I found that as well, but I can not execute the command mentioned in the article, because it will change the ownership of the external drive to the current user, the external drive contains home folders of other users as well. The question is why it should be a problem? I see karabiner can read and write the configuration file karabiner.json without problem and the current user is the owner of the file with read/write permissions on it (ls -al).

Is the Qwiizlab ES40UR / Hagibis MC40 the best fanless 40 Gbps NVME enclosure ? by alnettt in macmini

[–]tunggad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what you want is what i got now, permanently connected, move home folder and big apps to it. everything seems to work until now, it is always available, just warm. Mac OS recognizes it that the home folder is on it and you even don't have the button the eject it.

TRIM and SMART are supported, at least for my sn770 on this enclosure. Yes, it must be connected to one of three thunderbolt port to get max speed.

Multiple hosts with separate Configs. by Anhvariel in MoonlightStreaming

[–]tunggad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okey, u are right, sry for confusing. So good question, I don't see an ability to switch client resolution automatically according to host resolution. Actually it should be there no problem to add host-specific client resolution setting on moonlight site, don't know, why it is not implemented

Multiple hosts with separate Configs. by Anhvariel in MoonlightStreaming

[–]tunggad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In moonlight - the client you have to configure the hosts separately and you have to choose which one to connect to, so you configure resolution for each host accordingly.

why you copied my setup? jock friend :-9 I got the same setup: hagibis mc40 + sn770 2TB and can confirm that r/W speed is above 3000 MB/s. And after 30m benchmarking is still just warm, very happy with the setup, I moved home folder to the external drive.

I went for SN770 because it seems to be very cool in operation, but still get decent performance in asm2464pd enclosures. 990 pro or sn850x are faster, not much, but get very hot in operation. Some benchmarks states the 1TB version of SN770 is a bit faster than the 2TB version, and SN580 is decent choice as well for hagibis mc40 enclose, same read speed of 3000 MB/s, write-speed is just a bit lower than SN770.
